I was born at a very early age in Fresno CA. I went to High School at Sanger High in Sanger CA. I love playing drums and played in the marching band. I also played in a rock n roll band. We played at teenage night clubs and various events. I saw my cousin with a hair style that I really liked, and I wanted the same one. I started styling that on my Family and friends and really got good at it, that I enrolled in Barber College. After a year and a half, I graduated. I became an apprentice and started my hairstyling career in 1970. I wanted to be the best, so I attended professional Hair Seminars for Redken International. Then took advanced classes at Sebastian and others. I really became well known and was in demand around town. I opened up Oggi Hair Salon in Clovis CA in 1982 and had 22 people working for me. I was so busy, I was booked up way in advance. After working long hours, I decided I did not want to own a Salon but just be a personal Hair Designer. I believe in Quality rather than Quantity. I still was very busy but did not have the responsibility of ownership. I was still in demand and continued advancing myself by higher education. I still play my drums in a few different bands and at the church on Sunday mornings. I am a single man who enjoys life and a lot of girl friends! Although I am a licensed Barber, I work more on women than men. I have many men and women clients who enjoy my work. I love what I do and I love making my clients look Great. I also do highlights and lowlights, perms and cuts, but my specialty is precision hair cutting. As long as I am healthy, I will keep cutting hair and playing my drums.
