The photos I almost didn’t post!🤍

As lash artists, we are so quick to zoom in on every tiny imperfection of our own work! The one lash that’s a little out of line, the one fan that could’ve been just a touch more open. We see the things no one else would ever notice, and sometimes that keeps us from sharing our art at all.

I’m probably one of the worst about it. I have so many beautiful sets sitting in my camera roll that never see the light of day because I tell myself they’re not “perfect.” But here’s the truth — perfection isn’t what builds great artists. Growth does.

When I took these photos, I didn’t realize there were a couple lashes that weren’t perfectly uniform. I could’ve stopped, adjusted them, and retaken the pictures — but my client was happy, confident, and glowing. I looked back later and thought, “Okay, that’s something I’ll do differently next time.” That’s how we get better.

Every set teaches us something new. Every photo we take, even the ones we pick apart, is part of our growth story. The goal isn’t to be flawless — it’s to keep learning, keep showing up, and keep creating with love and intention.
