This new client had been dealing with not loving her hair color for several months, and several attempts to get it to where she wanted it. My before picture doesn't quite capture it, but she came to me with muddy greenish blueish ends and unwanted redness/warmth at the roots.
Our goal on this first visit was to get back to even color and cool-neutral tones, with lived-in dimension. We'll refresh her toner in a few weeks, and then once we have a good canvas that's holding where we want it, we can go in with more highlights in the future ❤️

👋🏻A little "about me" time!

•I've been in an on-again-off-again relationship with Instagram for a long time, but I'm trying to be more committed this time around 😅 I see the value in it from a business perspective, but I hate the amount of distraction that it brings. I'll be working hard on setting boundaries for myself, especially when I'm with my family. But I am also excited to engage with my clients (and future clients) in this way!

•I have been doing hair for 15 years. I started in Michigan, spent several years in Atlanta Georgia, then back to Michigan, and now I am so excited to be putting down roots here in Idaho!

•My favorite thing about this career is the connections that are formed between stylist and client. I take pride in listening to my clients and coming up with a plan that best suits your individual look, based on your hair type, hair health, etc. I have experience doing all kinds of color, but especially bright blondes, softer lived-in looks, and grey coverage.

•I do bridal and formal hairstyling. Being such an important part of someone's special day is a privilege and I truly love it!

•During the week, I stay busy with our 8 month old while my big two are at school. It's been fun to have a baby again and enjoy all the little baby things with her one on one, and I'm really looking forward to the next year with her - I've always said 1 year olds are one of my favorite kid stages. Being able to mostly do stay at home mom life, but work one day a week is just a dream.

•My husband and I love exploring all the outdoor beauty that this place has to offer, with our 3 kids and dog. Camping, hiking, swimming in lakes, and maybe we'll even venture into skiing this winter?!

•I haven't gotten back into the groove of yoga since moving, but it is my happy place and I can't wait to find a studio to be my new spot

•Coffee is my love language and I'll accept it any time of day. I mostly drink it black from my french press, but love it in almost any form

I have added a few more hours at ! I'm now working Thursday mornings, in addition to Saturdays
