Being a kind and accommodating lash artist doesn’t mean every situation automatically qualifies for a free mini. 🫶🏻

I proudly offer a complimentary mini when excessive lash loss is reported within 72 hours..but there are reasonable stipulations:

✨ I need to assess your lashes in person
✨ The appointment must fit within my available business hours
✨ The mini addresses unusual retention—not a change of mind about length, fullness, curl or style
✨ Aftercare, picking or pulling, arriving with damaged natural lashes, and having another artist alter the set may affect eligibility

Natural shedding is expected, and every client’s lash cycle, natural-lash health and lifestyle are different. A complimentary mini allows me to examine what happened and correct an application or retention concern when appropriate—it isn’t automatically a free service upon request.

I will always listen, investigate and stand behind my work. I’ll also continue protecting my time, professional judgment and business boundaries. Kindness and policies can absolutely coexist. 🤎

Lash extensions do NOT mean we stop washing our lashes…in fact, keeping them clean is an important part of taking care of both your extensions and your natural lashes.

Daily lash baths help remove makeup, oils, dead skin and everyday buildup around the lash line. Clean lashes also give your extensions the best chance at good retention. ✨

And don’t be afraid of getting them wet! If an extension is ready to shed, we would much rather it come off during a lash bath than avoid cleansing altogether. 🫶🏻

Clean lashes = happy lashes + a happy lash artist. 😂

UV is UV… right? ☀️ Well, there’s a little more to it. 🫶🏻

When we hear the word UV, most of us immediately think of sun exposure. But UV exposure isn’t one-size-fits-all.

The sun exposes us to a broad spectrum of ultraviolet radiation for however long we’re outside. A UV/LED lash-curing system, on the other hand, uses a controlled light source designed to cure the adhesive during application.

When we talk about UV exposure, things like wavelength, intensity, distance from the light, and length of exposure all matter, not simply whether something uses UV light.

That’s why I think education is SO important, especially as newer technology makes its way into our industry.

I want my clients to understand the services and products I use rather than simply hearing “UV” and being told not to worry about it. 🤍

I’m continually learning, researching, and asking questions so I can make informed decisions for both myself and the women who trust me with their eyes.

This one made me a little nervous to post. 🫶🏻

Not because I don’t believe what I’m saying…but because sharing the things I’ve learned along the way feels a little more vulnerable than sharing the things I already know HOW to do. 😅

But maybe that’s exactly why I should share them. 🤷‍♀️

One of the biggest things I’m learning is that a hard season doesn’t have to become your whole life.

You can be hurting and still laugh until your stomach hurts. (Thinking about my sweet bestie who reminded me of this )

You can be uncertain and still feel hopeful.

You can be grieving something and still be incredibly grateful for everything that remains.

You can have something in your life that feels really, really hard… and still have a beautiful life.

The joy doesn’t make the pain less real.

And the pain doesn’t make the joy less real either.

Two things can be true. 🤍

I’m not an expert on life. I’m just a woman living it, doing the work, trying to heal to be the best version of myself , and honestly just learning along the way…and maybe sharing some of those lessons will help another woman feel a little less alone in hers. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
