Twelve years ago, we introduced our Same Love Soap with a simple promise: to keep it on our shelves year-round, with proceeds going directly to fuel community care and visibility. Beyond critical fundraising for grassroots non-profits like our local pride chapter, North Idaho Pride Alliance (NIPA) , we believe true accountability means showing up for our friends and neighbors by making it known that we see you, we support you, and we are so incredibly grateful you exist.

We wanted to share some notes from our own journey to help demystify the process, and to encourage you to celebrate the beautiful force of nature that is diversity.

We’re incredibly excited to participate in the Idaho Gives window decorating contest again! This wonderful initiative by the Idaho Nonprofit Center unites our state to raise awareness and vital funds for local organizations.

This year, our window is inspired by the Salmon, the sacred life-giver to the Nimíipuu people. Its journey teaches us a profound lesson: when we give freely, the entire world thrives. If we win the contest, the donation goes directly to our chosen partner: Nimíipuu Protecting the Environment

Behind the Scenes for our Idaho Gives Window Decorating Contest display! We’re incredibly excited and proud to participate in the Idaho Gives 2026 Whimsical Windows contest another year! 🫶🏼🏔️

This year, our display was a true team effort inspired by the Nimíipuu and the Salmon: the sacred life-giver that ensures the survival of over 130 species.

Kami brought the concept to life by sculpting our larger-than-life paper-mâché sockeye salmon with floral details (and a "hidden" Idaho Gives symbol) to symbolize how the world thrives when we give freely. Cody hand-cut and painted the trees, boulders, and waves. Every element, including the waterfall and free-hand lettering, was made from reusable materials and plastic waste to highlight our fight against environmental pollution! 🌊

If we are lucky enough to win, we’ll receive a donation for our chosen nonprofit partner, Nimíipuu: Protecting the Environment (), whose mission to defend lands, waters, and wildlife aligns perfectly with our brand values! 💙
