My dearest clients and followers.... I am stunned, shocked and so disappointed at what our Governor stated tonight..... I am sure that I can speak for all my brother and sister salon professionals when I say that this is NOT right, nor is it fair.
I WANT to get back in the salon. I NEED to get back in the salon. The salon is my world. My life. While my yard is getting a lot of much needed care, mentally the shut down is killing me slowly. None of you are clients, you are my friends. Some new friends, some I have had the honor of working with for over 25+ years. I miss you all dearly.
I have had numerous call and messages asking if I would perform work "underground"..... I know there are several salon professionals in Michigan that have pushed the bar and gone against the shut down. I want to, but just can't. I can not risk my license, but please know that I appreciate and respect your offers. It hurts my deeply to tell you no.
For the appointments that are scheduled in anticipation of opening at the end of next week, we will leave them there for right now. Things can change in a matter of days. If nothing changes by the end of this weekend, we will deal with the schedule at that time. Until then, I am praying for all of our health.
