At Sumter Hair Company, you’ll be welcomed by a team of experienced stylists who are passionate about helping you look and feel your best.
MEET KATHLEEN: Originally from Vermont, Kathleen has been in the cosmetology industry since 1985 and is the proud owner of Sumter Hair Company. She is thrilled to bring affordable, quality hair care to the heart of historic Sumter County in a warm, small-town atmosphere.
MEET CARRIE: Carrie is a Sumter County resident since 1985 and former owner of Carrie’s Gossip Shop in Lake Panasoffkee and Bushnell, has nearly 40 years of experience and is delighted to be back behind the chair, where she continues to build lasting friendships through her passion for hair.
MEET SHIRLEY- Shirley is a lifelong Floridian who has called Sumter County home for most of her life, has been a licensed hairstylist since 2001 and enjoys using her creativity both in the salon and through her many craft projects.
Together, we’re committed to providing friendly, professional service, timeless styles, and exceptional value for the whole family.
We can’t wait to welcome both familiar and new faces into our chairs! 😊
