Howdy y’all! My name is Katy Welch and I am a hairstylist in the B/CS area! I have big and exciting news! Me and Macy Kate are opening a new suite in sola salon at the college station location!! We are beyond grateful and excited to start this new journey, and to get to grow with our amazing clients! A couple facts about me and my journey are:
1) I absolutely LOVE doing hair! It is my passion and I could not imagine doing anything else with my life. It creates so much joy in my heart to get to connect with my clients, and help them feel beautiful, safe, and heard!!
2) in my freetime, you will always find me hanging out with my amazing friends, family, or my dogs willie the Aussie or Junebug the Pomeranian. You might get to see June bug in the salon with me from time to time 😉
3) I grew up in the small town of Shiner, TX. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and generally being outdoors! I moved to college station in 2021 and have lived here ever since! I love this town and I am a proud aggie! WHOOP!!

Again, I am so happy to grow in my career and with my clients! I hope to see each and every one of you in my chair! Wishing you all peace, love, and happiness!

Beautiful color refresh on my classmate .by_.madalyn! She had burgundy tones in her hair, after we got those out, we went in with a beautiful brown and applied it all over and it turned out so gorgeous!!
