The quest for the perfect pout can sometimes lead to disastrous results, as one Swedish woman, Stefani Gaetan found out the hard way. After getting too much filler injected into her lips, 11 mL to be exact, they ended up exploding, leaving her in excruciating pain and with a shocking appearance and needing stitches. 

Some may see this as a cautionary tale against the dangers of cosmetic procedures, but is this just another example of society's unrealistic beauty standards and the pressure placed on women to conform to them.
