• Happy Sunday •
As some may know and some may not, at the beginning of this year I decided to take a step back from the world of all things hair and makeup. As much as I have loved this industry for the past 7 years of my life. God showed me that he has a WAY greater purpose for my life.
As I have trickled back on appointments, I have also been attending GCU online in the College of Education grades K-6. I am estimated to graduated in a year or so. This has lead me to know being full time in the classroom. My heart is full and purposefully being used when I am teaching littles.
I never in a million years would have thought, I would be become a teacher. My whole life has aways been centered around this industry. However, the time has come and I packed up my salon this weekend.
Loss is hard, in any form. I feel like I have given my heart and soul to hairbyallinamac and it's a true testimony that anyone can do anything from ground zero. When I moved back here, I had no clients, with the ones who loved and supported me by my side. I didn't know what my future looked like but I did it. Within a years time I had my suite and it came with struggles but also great proudness that I did this from nothing, with nothing.
With that being said, the OG's who have been with me since Funky. I can never repay you. I am so thankful for the friendships I have gotten to make over the past 3 years with my clients. I want you to all know if you've ever shared my name or sat in my chair, how much I appreciate you!!
Going into this next chapter, I don't know exactly what my plan looks like. I am trusting God that he places me and use me exactly where I am meant to be.
In the meantime, I will be sharing a suite depending on scheduling with 2 girls in my salon that have graciously opened their room to me when available.
I'm at a point in my life, where I have no idea what my next year looks like. I do know, there is a plan so so good for me and I cannot wait to see where I end up.

I have so much to be THANKFUL for this Thanksgiving.
A little under 2 years ago when I moved back to College Station...I wouldn't have imagined I'd be where I am now.
I remember the feeling of defeat, starting over with an entirely new clientele, being 25 and feeling like I was too old to be restarting in this industry which is CRAZY.
However, I would listen to this song every single day after work. I'd make a few laps around the block not knowing what my future held but only knowing I had God, a love for hair & hard work ethic.
With that being said, I want to say THANK YOU. To all of my clients, family & friends who have supported me. I would NOT be where I am without all of you.
I hope to only continue to grow my business & my knowledge with y'all's support behind me. Here's to starting over. It's NEVER too late to begin your DREAM.

THE GOAL - work on hair health + shifting to her natural
THE PROCESS: all using Shades EQ
- Full head lowlight
- Root Smudge to blend
- All over gloss to refresh/tone down the blonde left
All using Demi permanent color which adds both moisture & shine back into the hair! We finished with a reshaping/haircut and a deep treatment.
