A lot of y’all have asked lately in the salon what this tattoo means.

I got this tattoo in memory of my cousin, Garrett, also known as “G.”

I know when some hear cousin they think of long distance relative but in our family, it’s more like siblings.

This tattoo is a constant reminder that God loves both the saint and the sinner, always. Not one of us is perfect.

G will always be with me until one glad day when we meet again. This is just a daily reminder of that.

So when I get anxious or sad, or whatever it may be, I can look down and see this small “g” and remember that no matter what, I will get to be in Heaven one day with Jesus and every struggle or fear will be gone.

It’s a very simple, small tattoo but it means a whole lot more than what you see. Just like Garrett. He was so much more than what was on the surface.

That’s the story of a letter that represents a life that will never be forgotten.

Keep faith, stay strong, and know you’re never alone.
