I am insanely blessed and honored by my friend and pastor Dean Barham. I cannot put into words the way this blessed me this morning.

Thank you, God, for your gift of hairdressing you have given me. The way I can connect with every person who sits in my chair and love them well— to give people a space where they feel seen, heard, respected and deeply loved. To be welcomed into salons all across the country and share in the love of hairdressing with other skilled workers, to empower them in the gifts they hone.

To every person who has sat in my chair, from 2016 to now, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for allowing me into your life, whether for one service 10 years ago or every 6 weeks for 8 years, you have blessed me in more ways than you realize. To every salon team that has invited me in, grown with me, and to the brand that has shaped me as a stylist— I carry you with me every service, every client.

Let’s do it again for say, the next 40, 50 years?
