Happy Hair Anniversary!!!

November marks my 18th year in this journey of connecting passion, creativity, and my love of people together in an incredible career. With this significant milestone, I will be implementing a slight increase in service charges. This change will go into effect beginning November 14th in honor of the start date of my career. Thank you for the part you have played in my success. I absolutely would not be where I am today without the support and loyalty you have generously given to me.

It is with sadness and understanding that in order to comply with the governors recent mandates, LOXS will be closed after Friday’s business day and reopen at the appropriate time recommended. If you have appointments coming up please give Sarah and I time to reach out and reschedule your appointment. We are so thankful to each and every one of you for your patience and loyalty. I will continue posting updates and I get more information.

I’ve been working on putting the right words together to make the most sense on the situation at hand and frankly we don’t have enough information to fully do that so this is what I have come up with. The way the salon industry works is if we don’t work, we don’t get paid. There are no sick days with pay. The corona virus has really brought a lot of caution and at this point guilt for wanting to work. Because this this, the following will be implemented immediately.

1. No more than 5 people (including the stylists) will be in the salon at any given time. We need to monitor what is being touched and have time to clean in between clients.

2. If you have travelled at all in the past week you need to reschedule your appointment. Sarah’s mother is in her 80’s and I have asthma. Bringing this sickness to the salon could be devastating.

3. If you are not receiving a service, you will be asked to leave. The less people we come in contact with the better our chances are of not spreading any sickness.

Please understand these precautions so we may do everything possible to insure the salon will survive this time. If you’d like to purchase gift cards or schedule further appointments you may do so through Square for both Sara and I.

Stay home if you are sick or have been in areas where people are testing positive.
