MEET DANIELLE HUFTON
Danielle’s hair story started in 2015. After building her career in South Jersey, she headed south to Florida, where she honed her craft as a blonding and extension specialist. Now, she’s back where it all began — bringing her experience, eye for detail, and genuine love of hair home to Bauhaus.✨

Blonding. Color. Cutting. Extensions. If it involves hair, Danielle is probably into it.⚡️

But for Danielle, the work is about more than the finished look. She loves getting to know her guests, creating genuine connections, and building the kind of long-term relationships that make sitting in her chair feel easy, personal, and worth coming back to.

And if you’ve spent any time in Danielle’s chair, you’ve probably heard about her two Frenchie fur babies, her awesome husband, and their shared love of discovering new pizza spots, catching a comedy show, and cheering on any Philadelphia sports team.

Meet Jennifer Matucci
With 25 years behind the chair, Jennifer believes great hair begins with thoughtful design. ✂️

Rooted in her Sassoon training, her approach is precise, intentional, and always tailored to the individual. She specializes in above-the-shoulder haircuts but is equally at home creating effortless shapes for every length, texture, and curl pattern.

Every appointment starts with conversation. Jennifer’s consultations are thorough by design, allowing her to understand not only how you want your hair to look, but how you want it to live. The result is a haircut that feels modern, grows out beautifully, and works with your everyday routine—not against it.

Beyond the salon, Jennifer is a mother to Anna, stepmother, and a pretty cool Nan (Grandmom, can you believe it?) Her signature style is unmistakably her own: platform sneakers, wide-leg trousers, minimalist eyewear, and a Coke Zero never too far away. She’ll never turn down great ramen, good conversation, or the chance to make someone feel like their best self.

We bet you didn’t know Najeau was named after Nina Kairouz’s mother.

A few months ago, Herringbone invited a few of us from Bauhaus Hair ( Shane, Emma, and Jenna) to a Scalp Masterclass with celebrity colorist and Najeau founder NINA KAIROUZ. It was part technique, part history, part ritual.

Nina shared the story behind Najeau — a brand built around family, heritage, and the belief that good hair starts at the root. At the center: cold-pressed Lebanese olive oil, sourced through Nina’s family connection to a 900-year-old monastery in Lebanon.

Inspired by ancestral oiling traditions and developed with modern science, Najeau approaches hair from the root — focusing on scalp care, follicle health, and creating a healthier foundation for the hair we see.

Form follows function.
Root follows result.

We left with a little more knowledge, more appreciation for the history of the ritual behind oiling hair, and a new perspective on what we put behind the chair.

That’s the kind of education we’re here for.
