Six ways to make your spray tan last longer:

PREP - It’s key to exfoliate before, to have any even surface.

MOISTURIZE - Look for rich body butters, silky oils and hyaluronic-acid infused lotions that’ll really feed your skin.

COOLER SHOWERS - Showering in very hot water can strip the skin of its natural oils and cause it to dry out. And we all know that dry skin = flaky tan. Keep your shower temperature down to extend the life of your tan.

HYDRATE - Drinking water can extend the longevity of your tan. Water keeps the skin healthy, supple and most importantly, hydrated.

AVOID ALCOHOL-BASED PRODUCTS & TONERS - These will will strip the color of your tan. This includes spraying perfume directly onto your skin.

WEAR SPF - If you burn, your skin is likely to peel, and once you start peeling you can pretty much say goodbye to your sun-kissed glow.

🚫 Last-minute shaving — can leave your skin irritated and make your tan develop unevenly.
🚫 Heavy lotion the day of — creates a barrier that can interfere with even solution absorption.
🚫 Oil-based products — can also create a barrier and affect development.
🚫 Exfoliating the night before — ideally, exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment so your skin has time to settle.
🚫 Showing up sweaty — sweat, deodorant, and skincare residue can all interfere with an even application.

✨ Best prep: Exfoliate + shave the day BEFORE, moisturize afterward, then arrive at your appointment with clean, dry skin and no lotions, oils, deodorant, or perfume.
