8 years of being a massage therapist today.

8 years ago I walked into school feeling lost about my future, a 1 year old that was counting on me, and my grandmother who wanted nothing more but to see me succeed in her last years on this earth.

I was pulling 16-20 hour days between school, working, my toddler, and my grandmother who was dying of cancer.

Undoubtably the most grueling and exhausting year of my life. But every test shaped me to who I am today.

My grandmother passed a week after I told her I was licensed. I wish she could have seen Massage By Meg. I wish I could tell her all about my clients that make my world so bright and beautiful. She would have loved all of you.

But instead I tell you all where I came from. Where my drive came from. She lives on in my soul and my business, but most importantly, my heart.

Hearing your stories like mine heals me just as much as I heal you.

Happy 8 years of my career, and many many many years to come. I love yall. 🖤

3 years. THREE.

3 years ago I took a chance on myself. I got this tiny little room in the middle of colonie and all I had was my 5 year old and a bucket of paint.

I knew that decision would get me fired. I knew I wouldn’t be allowed to do both. I knew I would have to say goodbye to my stable job and go all in on just me. Just Meg.

3 years later and I’ve never looked back. I put blood sweat and tears into this business since the day I touched those keys.

And I crushed it. I built myself up. My family up. My community up. This world is ever so slightly more beautiful because I helped make it that way.

I’m proud of me. And to think this is only the beginning.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every person that has given any level of support. YOU kept me going. YOU wiped my tears on the bad days even if you didn’t know you were. YOU kept my chin up when all I could think about is fear and failure. I love yall so much. Every single one of you that has put me in this life. THANK YOU!

I can’t believe its been 6 years.

I’ve been honored with attending bestie fest with some of the most incredible, talented, and amazing humans for SIX YEARS!

I earned my 8th and 9th award for Best Massage and Best Customer Service by , an honor an pleasure to receive time and time again.

I also got to finally meet one of my internet best friends, Lori, who runs a kick ass business . She’s genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and does so much for the community. So incredibly proud of her and her accomplishments!

I forgot to get a pic with but please go look at her profile, she’s absolutely stunning, was the most bad ass cover girl, and has supported my little dream for years now. I appreciate and love her endlessly!!

A special thank you to the best husband the world has ever known. You keep the engine running at home while I’m a boss b*tch, you are the best husband, best father, best supporter, and without you I don’t know what I’d do.
