The scripture that promises God will give us beauty for ashes comes to mind when I read this.
Isaiah 61:3 says “to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

When I wanted to get my tubes tied after having 3 very difficult and high risk pregnancies, my doctor was very dismissive.
She tried to give me several scenarios on why I needed to keep my tubes in tact so I could continue to get pregnant. I told her my husband was on board with this.
The day of my c-section & tubal ligation they spoke with my husband and asked HIM to sign the paper acknowledging he knew and was allowing this to happen. 👀👀
My husband “I need my wife more than we need more kids. Every pregnancy puts more stress on her body, why do I have to sign this if she already stated she wanted this?” He signed anyway but the entire ordeal was aggravating.
This November, we have a clear choice between Vice President Harris, our champion in the fight for reproductive freedom, and Donald Trump, who would ban abortion nationwide. The stakes could not be higher – let’s get to work.
