Nova's Mobile Hair Magic LLC

The winds of change have blown through my life recently; and with a heavy heart I'm here to announce that Nova's Mobile Hair Magic will no longer be a Colorado based operation.
Sometimes every puzzle piece of one's life has to scatter in order for the pieces to come back together and create a new, beautiful image, and that's what is happening to me right now.

Two major things have lead to this decision, and I want to be transparent because you all have trusted me with the intimate details of your life- something I treasure and will never forget.
My partner and I made the hard decision to separate at the same time my lifelong mystery health issues finally got diagnosed.
I have a condition called Adrenal Insufficiency/possibly Addison's disease which is the extreme version of that. We are still doing testing. Basically, my body is producing little to no hormones on it's own, including Cortisol, the hormone that helps you handle stress. In order to fully heal and adjust to the hormone replacement therapies, I need to treat myself so kindly and gently for the next stretch of time, because my body cannot physically handle stress right now- it can be fatal with levels as low as mine.
I'll be heading back to my roots in Seattle where I will have family to lean on and the ocean's amazing healing energy to guide me into the next chapter of life.

I could go on and on about how wonderful you all have made my life over the past year, but we'll keep it short and sweet: I got to live out my dream of being a self employed artist, all because of your support.
Thank you to everyone who shouted me out on the q***r FB groups whenever someone needed a hair person, thank you to everyone who came over even before I had a proper set up in my house. Thank you for being real and raw with me and trusting me to hold your hand through hard times and good, and for all the awesome hugs.

My whole hope as a hairstylist is to help people look in the mirror and see the light inside of them- because I already saw that beauty from a mile away 😉

Although I will miss my Colorado family SO much, the Circus was meant to travel, and so was I. If our paths cross in person again, I will always have time for you, and your hair, too ❤

We also started the process of growing the back of their hair out to grow into a majestic mullet someday 😎

Had the honor of taking my good pal Cassie from her natural dark hair to a dreamy blue.

Last weekend I travelled to Texas to make a long distance house call and to see one of my very best friends!
Tae hadn't done anything to their hair since June 2019 when we saw eachother last. 😳
We decided on a bright blonde and an a-line bob with a side shave.
Hair can really make such a difference to your overall happiness and I hope Tae is feeling more like their awesome self with this hair. ❤
