POV: you and your husband have been battling the flu for days in a 1 room efficiency apartment. He’s feeling recovered.

Husband: “Wow- I must have lost almost 10 pounds!”
Me (in a cigarette voice,holding another mug of hot lemon water & looking like absolute death): “Oh yeah? ….well how cool for you - because I haven’t…… I haven’t lost any weight.”

Husband: Backs slowly from the room.

Miss my Adriatic clothesline days more than I can say — nothing beats laundry dried in actual sun 🌞 and sea air. Virginia has had other plans: 81% humidity, a chance of rain most days this week. So the line is retired for now and I'm hunting for a detergent that can produce that "dried in the Mediterranean sun" freshness from inside a machine. Not the cheap stuff that just masks odor — something with real, natural ingredients that works on stains and daily grime, but smells like it belongs in a boutique, not a big-box aisle. Tell me your ride-or-die laundry secrets!🧼 👚👗
