That’s right!
There are a lot of feelings and emotions that we express through out our lives but sometimes some of the emotions get stuck and store within our bodies. And as a result, we carry most of our lives what does not have an hours through symptoms like extra weight, cancer, disease, depression, anxiety, self sabotage, eating disorders, etc.
That is why the work I do is beyond just a physical body.
We go into the emotional body, the mental body and the spiritual as well for an overall body healing.

Wake up sista!
After months of taking a break from studio classes like barre and hot yoga, I had an earning to move my body in that way again.
And lord behold I did get a deep burn, my body shook, I got a good sweat in but was I TRULY connected to my body? Did anything shift for me emotionally?
Did I even remember any of the songs that were played?
Of course not! It’s time to wake up from this paradigm of performance, hustle, achievement, get your goals, hot girl summer, body positivity culture.
Why you may ask? Because most of our society is burned out, depressed, not having enough s*x, not Connected to our bodies, our spirit, or our authenticity. Most of us are in constant chase of approval and perfection. And that’s super exhausting! We
We are running an auto pilot of waking up exhausted, chugging 2 to 3 cups of coffee to get our days going, perform some more throughout the day at work, force ourselves to get into the gym after having a pre-workout and then pass out in front of our screens.
There is a different way of BEING. And what I teach which is called The Movement is a wonderful tool to help you get out of your mind more into your body, more into sensation of pleasure, permission to be fully you, and relax your nervous system and feel safe.

The chase and pursuit of perfection….
creates more unhappiness, lack of confidence and depletion in our lives.
This is my journey of chasing that perfect ‘it bod’.
Pic #1: me at 11 years old, overweight, shy, insecure, lost, confused little girl who was hiding behind that big smile
Pic #2: me at 24 years old, visiting my father in 🇺🇦. About 198 lbs
Pic #3: 25 year old Masha who just debuted her thesis collection at the graduation fashion show. Truly happy and doing what I loved at that time. 175 lbs
Pic #4: Traveling solo to Barcelona at 29 years old. 170 lbs
Pic #5: After a break up stepping into my new life back to US after living in Ukraine for 2 years. 159 lbs, 29 years old

The point is the more we chase perfection the more we choose happiness the more we chase that’s relationship that we’re craving the more we are separating ourselves from who we truly are and where we truly feel our best.

Self love…see it and hear it everywhere last few years.
But how easy is it to go from I hate myself so I truly love myself. The first step is to discover what you are about. Trial and error. Somethings you will love about yourself somethings you will hate about yourself. But we don’t know until we try right?

My first foundational The Movement Class was epic…
not only was I extremely nervous but also very excited to share this new discovery for me about what it’s like to be fully present in your body to allow your body lead and to tune into how you’re feeling versus focusing on what you’re supposed to be doing. Giving yourself permission to just BE ,whether it’s going into the intensity of the movement or relaxing on the mat. all is permitted in the my class and safe container of women I guide.
