1ST ANNUAL THRASHERS SURVIVAL DRIVE

In 2022, fourteen of our houseless neighbors froze to death. In 2023, that number grew to twenty one. In 2017 a homeless woman (and amazing advocate) gave my best friend a $300 leather coat - only to be found frozen to a street pole a few months later. Her name was Raven Canon and every winter, the sub zero climate sweeps in, and whispers her name till Spring. So when Connor and Dania told me they were finally building Thrashers - I knew theyd be building something extra ordinary. Not just a place to showcase musicians, or to rage, but a home and a place to really establish something special. We believe in the power of the collective, we know we are stronger in numbers, and we believe in lifting one another up. So though we have dissolved the non profit where we did 8 amazing years as HOME - We are launching 2025-26 Thrashers 1st annual Survival Gear Drive! There is a basket to the right of the stage where we are collecting HEAVY coats and winter clothing, boots, UNOPENED packs of socks and underwear, toiletries, large pet coats and unopened dog food, hygiene products and camping gear; propane, hand/toe warmers, tarps, tents, sleeping pads, etc (please do not treat this as a goodwill bin - if i can not hand it to a houseless ADULT neighbor during a snow storm, we do NOT want it) We have built out the back closet as a food pantry, and we will have our Go With The Flow feminine product 'leave a tampon, take a tampon' drive going 365. Starting THANKSGIVING we will be fundraising for 1 individual OR organization per month by giving FREE shots of the month for donating to our monthly Go Fund Me QR code or selecting an item from our Amazon Wishlist to distribute. This month we are raising money for a single mom who is leaving a DV partnership. We have always advocated that we are only as strong as our weakest links, that a great community starts from the bottom up- and if we want a really wonderful place to live and thrash, we have got to help our neighbors, starting with the most vulnerable players first. SO if you want to drink for a good cause, have gear for our houseless neighbors, food

The holidays are here 🦃🎄🎅🎆 so that means people will be dumping dogs while others are "buying puppies as gifts" 💔 These 2 small breed human/dog friendly sweethearts were found dumped together over the weekend. We have until the weekend to find foster or adopter or they will be "disposed of as unwanted property" There is no public adoption floor but if I can find foster or adopter anywhere in CO, I can partner them to rescue and Hwy 50 Freedom Ride will transport out this weekend. Please share, its the only way to get enough exposure to save these precious dogs.

I know I come here and ask for help too often.. today I have to come and beg. Gino and his family moved to Thailand 5 months ago but due to visa protocols and an unsafe climate, they are moving back to the US. He paid $3,000+ to afford his dog Nova's transport and now the airline is saying the crate accommodation won't work, and that he owes $1400 more by Tuesday or Nova will be stuck in Thailand without ANY of her people. We are desperately seeking funds. Its likely I will be loaning the money out of my credit cards (I really cant afford to) but I refuse to let this beloved senior dog be without her family in a foreign country.. or let her family feel the pain of being without their loved one, or feeling like they failed her when they are fighting so hard. Gino has been desperately working overtime, donating plasma, and everything else he can think of but he's paid everything he has and we need help NOW. I will post his Go Fund Me in comments as well as my info... please please please.. I beg you to please help us. $1, $2, $5 helps. No amount is too small. If you cannot donate, please share.
