"No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." -Hebrews 12:11
I remember so many times when I thought I was making absolutely no progress at all in training my children. Constantly, I had to stand against my children's selfishness, self-centeredness, fusses, and arguments.
So many people who meet my children as adults and read our stories falsely get the impression that it was just easier for me! But, I tell you, I have earned every gray hair that is on my head--through stress and strain, lots of tears, and endless praying--begging God for His intervention.
But we aren’t alone when our children resist us! The history of Christianity, all the way from Genesis to Revelation, is God's children resisting him! And we are still doing it.
There is no magic formula that will make our children mature. It is training them, teaching them manners, and correcting and instructing them again and again. Helping them memorize scripture and using the Word to teach them about wrong attitudes versus good attitudes, training them to learn to love, helping them to become unselfish.
Hang on, mamas! All of your training will eventually matter so very greatly--but it may not, probably will not be affirmed at the moment in which it is given. It is a long pathway of life, never instant, and always through some dark passages.
So, today, take a deep breath, lean into the whole miraculous process and enjoy the way. Reach high, over and over again. Don't take yourself and your guilty moments too seriously, persevere and you will see the wisdom of God flourishing in and through your own home. You are doing a great job--it just doesn't always feel like it!

•HEY•
Sometimes I feel a lot of pressure to give only really worthy content on this little app. Well, lately- creativity has been more stressful than enjoyable. I’m just a mom of four really neat kids and I’m pouring into something that doesnt fill my cup. So I’m not sure where I’m going with this, Im just sharing my heart.
•
Anywho, these little nuggets are just the greatest. How ever did I get so blessed to be their mommy🥺♥️✨

•TEN MONTHS•
Ten blissful months with our sweet Ezrah Lynn ✨ I’m like five days late (fourth child problems right?😅)
We are so thankful for our Ezzie girl and we love watching her little personality grow. She’s pooped two little teeths and shakes her head in excitement with her Brother’s.
I can not believe how fast this year has gone by watching her grow. We love you more than you’ll ever ever know🤍✨

•BEGIN WITH JESUS•
Mornings can be a tad chaotic around here, especially if I over sleep and feel rushed to accomplish things before the children wake up.
•
One things for certain, we begin our days with Jesus. This is simple to do with the assistance of and .clarkson ‘s book ‘The 24 family ways’. Some mornings it feels our children are not theological enough for some of the prompts but it always surprises me later when they reference something we discussed that morning from the book and Bible.
•
One of my favorite verses in regards to motherhood is 1 Corinthians 3:6 - it doesn’t matter who does the planting or who does the watering, God makes the seed grow 🌱✨
•
I am very thankful for each day we begin with Jesus, and of course a cuppa strong tea.

•PROVERBS 14:4•
In proverbs 14:4 it basically says, where there are no oxen- the stable is clean. But when there is, there are things to be joyfully done.
•
Chidlren are like oxen, they’re clumsy and loud, eat all day every day, and yes indeed make messes.
•
With that being said, memories and joy come along with those messes. My children nor I will remember the piles of dishes or laundry, we will remember the forts made and the delicious meals enjoyed. The snuggles by the fire and the silly videos we made before running errands.
•
The stable may be messy but the joys of living there will always be cherished. I am grateful for every single mess and dish✨

•THIS IS SEVEN•
There are no words to describe how much my oldest means to me. He is such a genuine kind loving soul, eager to learn and always curious on resolving a puzzel or lego. He is the best biggest brother, God hand picked him for that role. Happy seventh birthday my sweet Matthew, we love you oh so much! Swipe to go back in time 🥺

•NINE MONTHS•
Our little sunshine lady turned 9 month old yesterday💛✨ She is everything and more to us , God knew that we needed this sweet little lady to help us with the hardness of the world. She’s currently cutting her first tooth and has been fighting some serious boogers this past week. But through it all she’s been all smiles and giggles.
You are pure Joy sweet Ezrah ✨

•EIGHT MONTHS•
Little lady turned eight months today. She is just such a joy, we cherish her with all our hearts and souls. Ezrah is basically always happy, recently discovered that she actually likes food, pulling up to standing and loving her brothers so much. Time has been flying by with this baby, and I just wish that it would slow down just a tad.
We love you sweet little lady 🖤✨

•RAISE A CHILD•
Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it. - proverbs 22:6
•
I dont really care if my children become successful or overly wealthy if it means their hearts and souls aren’t filled with the Love of Christ. What good is a person if they can not serve others with unconditional love and understanding.
As for me, I’ll be raising warriors of Jesus 🤍✨

•WE MADE IT A HOME•
We’ve live in our little house a year now, and with in that year we’ve made it a home. From remodeling and updating, having a baby at home, and educating our children here too, it already feels so significant to us to share these walls together.
I’m looking forward to making more memories and growing closer together under this roof.
