My absolute favorite piece of advice.

Something about getting pregnant and having a baby opens up the floodgates of information, opinions, and advice from every side. Your neighbor may share about how her baby slept through the night from the start. Your grandma may tell you about how they did things when she was a young mother. Even healthcare providers may offer differing opinions. It can be so overwhelming and sometimes discouraging if you start playing the comparison game.

But my biggest piece of advice is to do what keeps YOU sane. YOU are your baby’s mom. Not your neighbor. Not your grandma. Not your pediatrician. So at the end of the day, you need to decide what YOUR goals are and how you want YOUR family to look. And then do that!

I’m here to help support you in your goals so you can be the best version of yourself for your baby. =]

What’s one of your favorite things about your baby?

Someone asked me recently what my main focus is for my business. I’d have to say mine is twofold: relationship and education. I believe they go together because I first want you to know that I genuinely care for you and want you to be successful on your breastfeeding and motherhood journey! And that’s where the second piece, education, comes in, in that I want to help answer your questions and prepare you for this awesome season of life! =]

And we can even start that BEFORE baby comes! I offer prenatal visits to go over questions and concerns you may have, make sure you’re comfortable with skills like hand expressing and pumping, and start laying the foundation for what’s good to know, all BEFORE you’re in the thick of it!

If there’s one thing I want to be as a resource for you, it’s relaxing! God knows we have enough stress and opinions and anxiety to deal with as new moms, so my goal is to help educate and encourage you so we can lessen that stress and help you find more joy in this new and amazing chaos. =]

I love this quote! And I think it’s so true in life: the more we give out, the more fulfilled we become. ❤️

One of my favorite easy hacks for getting a deep latch: aim your ni**le at baby’s nose. This encourages baby to tilt their head back and open wide before coming onto the breast, helping to result in more breast tissue in the mouth and a deeper and more comfortable latch.

Ever wonder what your baby is thinking while they’re nursing?

I love seeing their little eyes as they learn the world around them from the safest place they can be: your arms! ❤️

Yep, that’s right! In addition to home visits, I also offer the option of virtual visits to help with all your breastfeeding/pumping/bottle feeding needs!

We can still work through any questions or concerns you may have, plus it gives me a valid excuse to talk with my hands (and my crochet b**b and my daughter’s baby doll/my prop 😂).

And of course, if you prefer to meet in person, I’m always available for home visits, too!

To this day, one of my absolute favorite parts of seeing families welcome their new babies is seeing the men becoming dads. ❤️
