When we have fine strands, we actually have less protective cuticle around the hair strand itself.So if you picture a roll of paper towels and the inner cardboard piece is the protective inner cortex of the hair that needs to be protected by the outer cuticle, someone with coarse strands has a full roll of paper towels, someone with an average density strand has a half a roll of paper towels, and someone with fine strands, we have maybe five to 10 sheets. That would be the biggest reason why we would want to be addressing these haircuts and cleaning these ends much more frequently.

Ok so my cast is completely set. I'm not 100% dry, so , I'm going to really quickly just keep pressing my diffuser in. Getting it really tight on the head shape, getting that last five minutes of dry time, this is also going to help break up the cast while I'm diffusing.

I'm still a fine hair, low density lady as well. And so to break up my cast, I like to very vigorously massage at my roots. To release my product cast up there. Then I like to do a stretch and pull with mine to release the cast. And then it allows my curls to bloom and open up more.
