2025 Handmade HollyDay announcement!

Due to feedback from vendors and customers from previous years, We are planning on hosting Handmade HollyDay at a venue less than 5 minutes from FestiviTea. This will allow for more convenient parking and more space for vendors and customers to move around. The date for this year's event is Nov 8th from 9am to 4pm.

What I'd like to hear from you all, is how you'd feel about visiting FestiviTea prior to visiting the off-site location to pickup goody bags, drop off your donations for the Bob Telmosse giveaway, shop the FestiviTea BouTEAque, and pick up some other goodies?

Hey everyone it’s Bree 💖 I recently finished my 200 hr yoga teacher training and I’m looking to share some yoga with anyone who’s interested! I’ll be hosting weekly sessions at Windmill Mesa park for $5, but my very first one is next Tuesday, May 20th at 6:30 pm for free to celebrate. Just bring your mat and be ready to move for a golden hour flow 🙂 id love to see some familiar faces and catch up with you all 💓

We are coming on here to help spread the word about the continued tradition of Handmade HollyDay, now hosted and ran by the lovely ladies at Festivitea LLC 😁 We would love to have you stop by and show them (and the other awesome vendors who will be there) your support! They will be collecting donations of all kinds for the Bob Telmosse group, a special tradition Holly always participated in each year ❤️

Hey everyone! It seems the crew has caught a cold and will be out of commission for the day. We will be closed today (7/8), but hopefully open tomorrow from 10-2pm!

A message from the Lotion Bar Cafe team:

Lotion Bar Cafe has served the community now for over 15 years. 15 amazing, hard, crazy, loving years and we are all so grateful we got to be a part of this business Holly loved so much and did so many great things through. Meeting new people who became our friends, traveling to soap conferences, learning new things- words cannot describe how thankful we are for everything.

When Holly passed, we wanted nothing more than to keep Lotion Bar Cafe going in her name. We were eager but naïve. That paired with the COVID 19 pandemic has caused us all an immense amount of pain emotionally, mentally, and financially. So it is with very heavy hearts that we are announcing the closing of Lotion Bar Cafe.

It is a decision that we are at peace with, and we are looking towards a new chapter in each of our lives. We will go forward in good faith that Holly would be proud of the effort we gave, the time we took to learn, and the ultimate conclusion of Lotion Bar Cafe.

At this time, we do not have a specific timeline of events, but we’re aiming to be fully closed by July 25th. Listed below will be more details of the logistics going forward.

-How and when can I shop?
We will only be open Friday and Saturday of this week for in person sales from 10 am- 2 pm. Beginning the week of July 5th we will be open Friday- Sunday from 10 am- 2 pm.

The website will be open Monday-Thursday for online sales with a minimum purchase order of $30.00

-What’s for sale?
All of our existing products, along with furniture, displays, packaging supplies, select raw ingredients, and other miscellaneous items.
We are not sure how we will be grouping the sale of specific items, so keep an eye out for future posts regarding those.
All sales will be final.

-Will you be restocking any products?
We do not have any plans to make/ produce anymore products at this time. What we have left is all that will be offered.

-Can I expect any deals or discounts on products?
As we move closer to July 25th we may choose to offer discounts, depending on how much inventory we have left. Please check for updates on this for more info.

-What will happen to the Little Library?
At this time we are hoping it will get to stay up and functional, but it will ultimately be up to the landlord/new tenants.

-What will happen to the Lotion Bar Cafe social media accounts?
We plan on keeping them up so everyone can view the memories. We may post uplifting photos/ memories as they come.

-How can I help?
Feel free to share the news to friends and family, keep us in your thoughts, share memories of your favorite times at Lotion Bar Cafe, we’re not opposed to hugs!

Please know that this was one of the hardest things to do throughout this whole process, as we know you guys loved Lotion Bar Cafe just as much as we did, if not more.

Announcing this was not easy, and we may need a day or so after posting this to get our thoughts/ emotions together, so please be patient with us, and know that we will come out the other side stronger than before.

Thanks for being a part of the Lotion Bar Cafe family all these years. We will miss you guys, but will always remember the good times we shared. Feel free to share your thoughts, memories, good times, whatever comes to mind, and any questions you may have. We will do our best to get back to you.

Every other day I think about letting this all go so we can have a relationship... but I have to catch myself and really think about what kind of relationship it would actually be. Would it be a happy, fulfilling, one? Would I feel energized after leaving our interaction? Lifted up and inspired to be better?

My answer was no.

So I chose to stay away and distance myself from them, even if it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But, ultimately, I know I am choosing to love myself enough to remove myself from that unhealthy dynamic and focus on bettering myself and my mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.”
