I had totally forgotten one of my favorite trick to do to restore the copper vibrancy back to the hair without having to do all over color!!

while the root touch up is processing I add thick diagonal slices on the nape and sides ,and then horizontal slices on the Mohawk section , painting the color on and leaving it process open air,
with pure copper pigment / additive + 30vol developer 1:2 ratio!
Roots formula 15g 7.3 + 15g 8.43 + 20vol 1:1,5 ratio

Using pure pigment and 30vol helps lift out some of the brown that tends to dull the copper/reds out over time. It’s fun way to add some new dimension and looks like I spent hours on it! 😉
