I'm sending out a very special Thank you to all of you, I've got to hear so many great testimonies about hear about how great your hair routines and hair growth are going. We also share so many fun stories and laughs together. It's always a perfect reminder of why I do what I do and why I stay so passionate about educating clients on the health of their natural hair.
I truly appreciate your continued support and trust as JessBeautiful continues to grow. To maintain the high-quality products and services you expect, I occasionally need to adjust my pricing to reflect rising costs. Starting April 1, 2025, there will be a slight increase in my prices. I will also be making changes to my services to make booking as a new client a little easier. This adjustment allows me to continue delivering exceptional service while keeping up with industry and economical changes.
I remain committed to providing you with the best value and appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions, as always please reach out to me through text or email.
I also would like to remind you to please read the portion titled under, "Please Read Prior to Booking". There you will find all the information you need to know pertaining to your appointments, including how to prepare for your appointment, paying, and cancellation and no-show fees. When booking your appointments you are agreeing to these terms of my policy. If you need to add on a detangling service, please do that when selecting your appointment service so that time can reflect the needs of each client. If I have to detangle or take down hair you will be charged for it as an add on service.
As a reminder, payments are not made on StyleSeat, unless for certain situations, please have a card saved on file for any late cancellation and no-show fees. All checkouts will be made through my Square app checkout station. If you are using credit/debit as payment, there is a $2.75 processing fee that is added to your total cost of service. If paying with cash, please make sure you plan ahead as I do not keep cash on hand for change.

It's the first month of the year, Time for a new and fresh start, New beginnings, New mindset and New focus filled with opportunities!
Thank you again to EVERYONE for always the endless support and kindness you've shared with me throughout this last year, I truly appreciate you all!
This will be a short newsletter, as many of you know I have been super busy and I'm more than ready for a vacation lol I'll get it soon don't w orry! :)
A couple of things I wanted to share with everyone,
When booking your appointments, please continue to book your appointments through StyleSeat. I have a pretty full schedule and don't always have that moment to schedule for you. If you need to change a service prior to your scheduled appointment, please send me a text if your unable to do it from StyleSeat first. If you're not able to then I will attempt to make the corrections on my end as soon as I can. I can schedule your next follow up appointment for you after your appointment is over but if you need to book multiple appointments, Please, Please, Please book your appointments out through StyleSeat. I know how much your hair appointments mean to you, so I just ask that you help me out and schedule accordingly so that you are not finding yourself without an appointment, sometimes you'll have to book out a few weeks to see an opening available. I will always do my best to get everyone in.
It's that time again! If you would like to book yourself out for the entire year, now is the time! You have until Jan. 9th. @ 7pm no exceptions!
If you know what time you'd like to request for and a certain day you'd prefer, please contact me through text (719) 217-0086 and I can check to see about booking you out for the entire year. Please include the time and day your requesting, if it is already taken, I will work to see what else is open. Again, this is a small window of opportunity so don't miss out I do not allow this during the year, this is the only time!!

I will be offering Texture Coaching One on One sessions, available only on Tuesdays as my schedule permits. This is for those that need to go deeper than just a 30 min consultation, this is a two-hour hands-on approach to learning! How to improve on styling your natural hair or doing upkeep in between salon visits, and what it looks like to perform a proper wash routine on your hair and creating a solid foundation toward healthier hair. This is open for all adults and teens, I'm here to help! For more information and to book for this Coaching session please read the detailed description under "Texture Coaching One on One". If you have questions, please contact me.
Lastly,
Thank you to those who purchased my Signature JessBeautiful Hair Growth Oil! I appreciate those who bought oils to send to family and friends, you guys made my day! I hope that everyone is enjoying it and using it towards the scalp area giving yourselves a nice head massage will never get old. I do have a couple more bottles if you have not been in yet, feel free to stop by Tuesday through Saturday and purchase a bottle or two! I also have a bigger size if you're in need of a little extra oil. I will plan to begin restocking closer to Spring so hold tight to your oils and don't over oil! lol

On May 8th I will be conducting a Watch Me Do My Hair class, this will be a basic teach me how class and all are welcome to come!

As always, I first want to express my appreciation to you all, Thank you so much for a wonderful year!

My prayer for this year is for us all to have a prosperous and blessed New Year in 2024.
So, let's get into this, as I shared in my last newsletter changes were coming...
I will be adding a few changes to my policy and pricing for this coming year so please be mindful of the changes, I will try to work with everyone as best as I can while adjusting to the changes that will go into full affect beginning 9 Jan 2024. For those of you that may have already booked an appointment or need to reschedule you will be doing so at the new rate of the service and policy changes will apply. If you would like to change your service let me know by contacting me directly at 719-217-0086 (text me please or call)
I will be adding a complementary warming and massage area to your shampoo experience and will also be adding a Package to choose from called, JessBeautiful Lux Experience which will include, a full shampoo wash and conditioning, detox cleansing, scalp care with head massage, Red Infared growth stimulation, steam treatment with protein and moisture balancing deep treatments, a cut, and style. This service will be available for clients with Curls, for adding to a Two Strand Twists style, wanting a Silk Press, and Loc clients wanting a nice relaxing shampoo wash experience!
Also, in the coming year clients will be required to pay a 30 % deposit on all color services to cover cost of products and also to secure your appointment slot, as I do most of my color services on Saturdays and sometimes during the week that does take up a good amount of time and I want to be sure clients are going to show up for. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT WILL GO TOWARDS YOUR TOTAL PAYMENT OF YOUR SERVICE. Appointments for color will have 30 days to reschedule if needed using the same deposit. If it should happen that you need to reschedule again you may only do so by paying another deposit for another 30-day timeframe. Cancellations for all color services must be made at least 1 week prior to your appointment, if you no call/ no show you will be charged 100% of the service using the card saved on file. If you do not follow policy, you will be banned from booking a color service with me in the future THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE. Clients will be provided a link to secure your appointment and pay your deposit the day of your consultation. AN IN-PERSON CONSULTATION IS REQUIRED in order to book for a color service, this applies to all new and established clients.
Cancellation Policy will be updated as well. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24-48 hours prior to your appointment so that someone else may be able to get in for an appointment and to avoid a late cancellation fee charge. Clients with a no call/ no show will be charged in full 100% of the service. If you need to cancel and reschedule on the same day as your appointment, that is the same as a late cancellation and you will be charged 50 % of the total service before your appointment will be rescheduled. All fees will be charged using the card saved on file under the clients account through StyleSeat or I may send you a direct link by Square app to take care of the fees requested. This includes illness, weather, and travel related cancellations.
All appointments must be booked online through StyleSeat. I will no longer be booking appointments for clients, established and new if an account is not already set up. All clients will need to have an account already set up with Styleseat and a current Pre-Authorized card saved on file, even if you plan to pay with cash or a different card that day. If you do not have an account set up, I will direct you to my booking site to do so first before completing scheduling. I will still book appointments, but I need to ensure that all my clients are reading and agreeing to the policies and procedures set in place prior to booking. By booking your appointment you are agreeing to all policies and procedures. I am always here to answer any questions or clear up any miscommunications you may have. Please be sure to go into my booking site to check out all the new changes.
For clients wanting to get a last-minute squeeze in appointment there will now be a $40 added fee to do so. Clients will need to pay that fee upon booking or speaking with me directly to arrange for payment. Clients who book to squeeze in must be on time. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late without communicating with me prior to your appointment, it will be cancelled. This is an added fee it is not to be combined with your total service and fee is
NON-refundable.
Just to go over a few other things and wrap up... I have my JessBeautiful hair oil and Refreshing spray, with aloe vera, rose water, and peppermint which is great for moisturizing locs and your protective styles like braids or twists. My goal for this coming year is to provide more hands-on learning opportunities for clients and hair stylists that are interested. So, stay tuned for more details about that within the year! I would also like to up the experience level while getting your hair serviced, with full relaxation! I will also be adding a service for those who wear wig units. If you need a unit customed cut or shaped for you, this service is definitely for you! Bring your unit with you and anything you may need to secure it down with and you'll finally be able to enjoy your custom cut wig unit (this is not an install only cutting). If you normally wear a wig unit and you don't feel like you've been taking the best care of your hair underneath that wig, there's a service for you too that I can assist you with! You can book for a braid prep or straight back twists service, and I will be happy to give you tips on achieving healthier hair. Also, I will be adding a Golden rate for my senior clients 65 years and older, of 20% off ONLY on Wednesdays! It's been a busy last couple of months for me and I just really want to let everyone know that I appreciate each and every one of you as clients, you mean a lot to me. I know that many of you have been with me for some years, some months, some being brand new clients. I would like to come back to those of my clients who are still having issues or concerns with their hair maintenance at home. If you let me know during your appointment that you would like to do a quick evaluation of your hair journey, I will write up some information for you as a take home to work on. Get you going with using better hair products or if it's something as simple as how do I tie my hair up at night? Let me know during your appointment so that we can get you to your hair goals!
Just a quick reminder for those who are wanting to do color, even if I have serviced your hair before I need to do a color consultation with you in person! I know you all get excited about pictures of color you've seen and just want what you see but sometimes the process is a little bit more than what you see on that photo. I need to know that you are in a place to really be able to take care of your hair after getting color added to your hair. So please schedule an in-person consultation for all color services and they need to be done at least 1 week prior to your appointment for your hair. If I don't have a color on hand, I will need to have enough time to get it for you. Thank you!
I have an area on my Styleseat page titled "Client Booking Info Please Read" this information is for all clients prior to booking, please, please, please, read that information so there is no confusion about what to expect during your appointment. If something is not worded correctly, please let me know by texting me and I will do my best to explain it better to you.
I too suffer from crazy seasonal allergies occasionally, so I do understand that runny nose sneezing itchy eyed monster but, if you are sick and that includes coughing excessively, sore throat, or being congested, please reschedule your appointment out at least two weeks from your original scheduled appointment. I want to make sure that you and others stay healthy. If you choose to reschedule, please do so either through Styleseat or by contacting me directly. If you choose to wear a mask during your appointment for preventative means I'm completely ok with that, but please do not come in with a mask if you are trying to contain symptoms you are currently experiencing, please just reschedule your appointment.
If you have noticed I will be doing price increases to services, I've spent a lot of time investing in more education to provide for your hair needs and services will also get revamped. You will start to see a change in prices and services now, but I will not put the charge in effect until Jan 1, 2024.

In this hands on class you will be able to learn how to add body and curl to your hair with flexi rods for bounce that lasts multiple days, by getting to watch mewhile also learning techniques to doing these rodson your own hair with me right there to guide! We'll only be working with half a section of your own hair but please have your hair freshly washed and detangled. If you have a tighter curl pattern please section out your hair and blow dry your section of hair throughly that you want to practice on prior to coming to class. I will not be prepping anybody's hair during or before class! No you do not need to bring anything with besides something to take notes with. This is a small group, one on one hands on class up to 4 people only no children or extra guests will be allowed during the class. I will be adding more classes to come soon! First class will be held on 23 June 2023, Friday from 4:30pm until 5:30 pm
To book this class I will need to add you personally so please text me(719-217-0086) for any details or questions and to be added for the class. Details for the class will be sent out a week prior to the scheduled class. Payments must be made at the time of scheduling, no refunds. Come ready to learn techniques and product knowledge to mastering your own flexi rod set at home!

STARTING 2023 with a BANG!!
Hello my JessBeautiful Clients!
I'll get right to it... I will be starting full time starting on February 9th 2023!!
To make this transition as smooth as possible I have opened up my full schedule for the months of February and March to give you a chance to schedule early. If you have a scheduled appointment with me already booked and you wish to change it, you can contact me by text message if you'd like a different time or day.
My hours will be Tuesdays 9am until 3pm and Wednesdays through Saturdays will be 9am until 7pm
I will still be off on Sundays and Mondays.
There will also be changes to some of the pricing and services. I will be adding a few services to the list and if you want to try a new style and you are not sure I offer it please just get with me by calling me or by text message prior to scheduling so we can go over it first.
My check out process will also change, you will still schedule through styleseat but I will check you out using my Square app starting today. If you still wish to pay in cash that is fine, I do not keep cash on hand and I will not have change for you, so please plan ahead. Also for clients needing to cancel or reschedule, PLEASE do so at least 24 to 48 hours PRIOR to your service. I try to get everyone in and if your cancelling at the last minute it holds up that spot that somebody else could've gotten in. If your running late I just ask that you communicate that with me please, if your going to be more than 30 minutes there's a chance we may have to reschedule.
I will be getting a big raffle basket together to celebrate this special occasion and will have it on display hopeful soon... raffle tickets are $5 each and I will be drawing on February 9th at the close of business day. I will announce the winner on the following day. The basket will include some of my favorite hair, skin, and nail goodies! I will also have a runner up prize of 40% off the Curly Wash Special service(one time use only, void after 1 year) depending on how many tickets are sold I might do two runner up prizes!! You can purchase a ticket through styleseat on the booking page or at the time of your service.

CHANGES AND UPDATES!!
Hello All My JessBeautiful Clients!!
I would first like to start out by saying, a Huge Thank Yoouuu to all of you! I appreciate the love you've shown me and encouragement you give me to keep me striving for so much more! I truly appreciate you all for this and thank you for staying loyal clients, it really means soo much to me.
Okk, so let's get to it! As many of you know...Yes, I am very booked and have been very busy lately. If you want to be added to the waiting list you can use the notify me button through style-seat or you can notify me through text, but please make sure you have an account already before texting me to be added to the waitlist. I am doing my best to open more slots for clients as my schedule allows me to. I ask that if you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please either notify me through text message to cancel or use the style-seat booking page to go in and cancel your appointment in a timely manner, must be at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid any late cancellations fees being applied. I will try my best to work with you if you work with me. If you need to reschedule your appointment please keep in mind that you may not get something right away and you may need to book out at least 2months to reschedule your appointment. I also ask that you please respect the time I don't work, it's to spend time with family. If you send me a message or call me and I do not respond right away it is because I am pre occupied with my time at the moment. I will respond back to you in a timely manner as soon as I can.
Please if you are sick or have any types of coughing, runny nose, sore throat, related to illness, Please Be Mindful of Others and Reschedule your Appointment. Flu season is upon us, and I only want to ensure that we all do our part to keep each other Healthy. I do have face masks on hand in case you forget yours. I wear a mask to protect myself and my family I do not make it mandatory for you to wear one but let's all do our part so that I don't have to make it mandatory.
I announced earlier that Ag Care hair products will be on sale until their gone as the company has recreated their image with a new packaging look. The ingredients have not changed but they now have a new look. So to make room for the new stuff I'm selling Ag products $10 off your total purchase price while supplies last. New products will have an increased price but as I have said, "Invest in the Crown you Wear". This product line has been a favorite of mines and I love the feedback of my clients after they've used it, and it works for their hair needs. I will also be adding a new favorite item to the batch from Design Me, so look out for that soon!
If you have any feedback you'd like to share with me please text me any concerns you may have with your service or with using the booking page. I may not have all the answers but I will do my best to atleast point you in the right direction to find the answer for you.
Lastly, you will see pricing changes coming in this month I have changed a few services and added a few services. There will be an added $2.74 to all credit/debit transactions at the time of check out.
