After 18 yrs at our Nevada Ave location & over 25yrs in the downtown area, it is with sadness that we announce that we have closed our doors. It’s been a great run with a fun talented group of barbers.
It’s been an honor to have served our awesome clients in the Downtown area for many years and hope to see you in our new individual locations.

- We accept Venmo if you want to avoid handling cash
- We'll be wearing masks for your safety😷
- We ask that you wear a mask for ours
- Please stay home if you might be sick🤒
- We will require extra time to disinfect between cuts
- It'll be busy for the next couple of weeks (hint: call ASAP to schedule)☎️
- Please arrive early if possible... the whole city needs a haircut and we may have to prioritize customers who are present over those who are not⌚
- No more than 10 people in the shop at one time
- So, no more than 4 people in the waiting area
- If full, please check in when you arrive and then wait outside until waiting room space opens up
- Waiting area has been reconfigured to allow distance of 6ft
- We really missed you and can't wait to fix your mess😂

Well, that's inconvenient... Things have been very fluid and we just learned we cannot reopen on the 27th. If you have an appointment scheduled for next week, please call (or expect a call) to cancel.

COVID-19 Update:
The state of Colorado has extended mandatory business suspensions to include barber shops until April 30th. Shears will be closed until this date unless otherwise allowed by state authorities. Please check back here for updates.

HOW TO IMPRESS THIS VALENTINE'S DAY
Whether you're still dating or married 20+ years, some of the most basic rules still apply...
1st - Flowers and Chocolate are table stakes for Valentine's Day. If you want to show you are really paying attention, surprise her with something sentimental or an item she has been wanting or needs. It doesn't have to be big or expensive (well, for some it might), but something unique to her will almost always do the trick.
2nd - Whether cooking a nice dinner or eating out, make the conversation about her. Ask lots of questions. Listen. Make her laugh. Order dessert. Oh, and don't forget. If you're eating out, make a reservation ASAP!
3rd - Find your inner dapper. Even if a flannel, jeans, and a ballcap are generally considered 'dressed up' for you, your date will notice (and appreciate) the extra effort to dress up just for her. While the clothes and shoes you choose are important, the perfect haircut is the icing on the cake!
