And believe it or not... I didn’t color her hair AT ALL. 🤷♀️ We worked with the color we did about 4 months ago.
I pulled out probably 6–7 different weft colors and mixed + matched until the blend was juuuust right. I even impressed myself 😂
And this is something I think more people should know... getting extensions doesn’t automatically mean you need to color your hair too.
Sometimes we need color to create the perfect blend, but sometimes I can work with what you already have. That can mean less maintenance, less time in the salon and yep... a little less $$ too. 🙌
The goal isn’t to do more to your hair just because we can. It’s to be intentional about what we actually need to get you to the end result.
And in this case... 2 rows, a custom mix of extension colors, a good blend and helloooo model hair. 😍

We can't be perfect all the time ... there is that brief moment where we have to remove our extensions for a refresh... 😂☠️
Goals: cover grey, make extensions and natural hair match again to make it through the last 8 weeks ✔️
These extensions were originally a beautiful brunette with highlights but, had gradually faded to an unsalvageable damaged blonde brunette mix over the last year, not to mention they used to be way longer 😭
We did a hard water treatment to soften them back up and followed it up with an all over color. Knowing we were replacing them next appointment we decided that a full color to make them healthy and shiny again was the only option that truly made sense.
