When I first opened the clinic, I paid a handyman $240 to hang five curtain rods.

And at the time, it was absolutely worth it. I was juggling a million things trying to get a new business up and running, and I was pretty convinced that if I attempted it myself, I’d end up with a crooked curtain and six unnecessary holes in the wall.

Fast forward a few years and we’ve expanded into a much bigger space… which means more rooms, more windows and, apparently, a LOT more curtain rods.

I’ve hung about six of them myself now, and somewhere along the way the military spouse in me kicked back in. 😂

I’m actually getting pretty fast at it.

One of the unexpected parts of growing a business is looking back at all the things you once thought, “I have no idea how to do that,” and realizing they’ve somehow become:

“Move over. I’ve got this.”

Building a clinic has definitely taught me a few skills that had nothing to do with massage therapy. 😂

And I have a feeling I’m not done learning yet.
