HEEEELLLOOO SPRING!!! I don't know about you guys but I was so excited when the weather started to get nice and warm out. It makes me so happy to see the sun shining and to hear the birds chirping. 😍

But with the nice weather coming we can't forget to get back in the habit of wearing spf daily to protect our faces from the suns rays. (Especially between the times of 11-3) And for those of you who continually wear spf every morning, give yourself a big pat on the back!!! 👍👍

Sun exposure is responsible for 90% of skin aging. UV rays are the primary cause of wrinkles, pigmentation, sun spots, reduced skin elasticity, degrading of skin texture, and so many other issues.

And please don't think all sunscreen is made equally---there is a huge difference between sunscreen that is MADE for your Face and sunscreen that should JUST be used on your Body!

Christmas is right around the corner and it's a great time to start shopping for those special people in your life!! So I've put together a few bundles to make that a little easier for you. Watch my LIVE video to get the details and message me to let me know how I can make your gift shopping easier for you this year!

Here's a few common things that you might do and don't think about, and are really not the best for your skin...

1)Make sure you are using a clean, non abrasive towel while you wash or dry your face. I recomend just using your hands or a silicone facial scrubber to wash your face. And I personally LOVE the Norwex Facial Towels to dry my face becasue they're non exfoliating/abrasive. If you're using an abrasive towel you can over exfoliate and irritate or damage your skin even more. Also, always pat your face dry, never rub it dry!

2) Always make sure your face is damp with water before you go in with your cleanser. That way it can pe*****te your skin better and its able to clean your face better and easier as well.

3) ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU WASH YOUR FACE! It took me a while to remember to do this and now I think it's gross if I don't. You want to make sure you're starting off with clean hands so you're not spreading bacteria from your hands to your face.

4) It's seriously a MUST to cleanse your face with the right cleanser for your skin type/condition! Everyone's skin is different, which means one cleanser that works for someone's skin might not be right or work for your skin. If you have questions about this or are in search of a cleanser for your skin type, message me, we can go over this together or set you up for a facial and I can analyze your face and make recommendations for you! It's hard to know what to do on your own without the help of a professional!

5) If you use makeup wipes or remove your makeup with something else, you always have to remember to wash your face afterwards! Leaving all those chemicals/ingredients from the makeup wipe on your skin all night is not good for the health of your skin. So wash wash!

6) This may be hard for those hot water lovers out there...but cleansing your face in too hot or too cold water is not good for your skin. So make sure the water you use to wash your face is luke-warm and your face will love you even more!
