3 years of my purple reign 👑💜
Something I’m very proud of as a small business owner is I never let the world’s idea of perfection or professionalism keep me from expressing myself as I am. I’m a human with ADHD and lots of other imperfections, but I’ve always pushed myself to continue growing and learning while supporting others along the way.
As a creator, many of you have seen me on my good days, but my clients have also seen me on my bad days and continued to support me and embrace me.
I will always say this: you can be a professional AND a human being.
Since opening my business on 9/18/2023, I have treated 700+ clients with 3600+ appointments, which is absolutely insane to me. I’ve had people find me through friends, Google, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, etc.. I’ve also won 2 local awards as well as 2 international awards.
If I could give any advice, it would be: step out of your comfort zone (even if it terrifies you); never stop learning; always be open to being wrong; support others in your industry rather than competing with them; stay open to other opinions/perspectives; and stay true to yourself.
Here’s to 3 years and, hopefully, many more. 💜🥂
