Each variety of thyme has a distinct flavor and scent, many citrusy and several with the scent and flavor profile of other well known herbs, such as oregano thyme and caraway thyme.

I have a bit of a love affair going with olives. They just add so much magic and complexity to so many things, whether on cooking, medicine, or spell work.

A main staple in the commonly known 'mediterranean diet', olives have been a powerhouse for heart health recommended by dietitians and physicians for years.

And with so many varieties, the flavor options are near endless. Herbalist dinner absolutely always includes at least a few olives. 😜

There are hundreds- estimated to be possibly thousands- of varieties of pomegranate. The most commonly known due to their popularity for grocery stores to sell is the Wonderful. Other common varieties include Angel Red, Parfianka, and Eversweet- a very sweet but almost seedless variety.

Pomegranate is a flowering tree fruit, typically hits peak harvest season between September and November, but can be harvested as late as February in certain warmer growth zones.

While it's most well known for its association with the Hades and Persephone myth, it is a nutrient packed fruit with powerful magical correspondence and divine feminine energy.
