Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced a day that changed us forever.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who carried unimaginable loss, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed.

For many of the older adults we serve, September 11 is not simply a moment in history—it is a day they remember. Where they were. Who they were with. The uncertainty they felt, and the way communities came together in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, may we continue to carry forward that spirit of compassion, service, and care for one another.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

A great day spent with our seniors!

We loved being part of this special event with CAFM, the SC Department on Aging, and Devoted Divas Home Health Care. Our seniors enjoyed chair aerobics, lunch, BINGO, exploring local vendors, and plenty of time to catch up and have fun!

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible and to CAFM for such a fun day for our seniors!

For more than 20 years, Senior Resources has helped Meals on Wheels clients care for their beloved companions through our Pet Pals program, providing pet food so older adults never have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding the pets they love.

Last night, Senior Resources was recognized as the Hometown Hero, and we couldn’t think of a better representative than Jefferson!

Every school break, you can find Jefferson in the Meals on Wheels kitchen packing meals and out in the community . We are so proud of his dedication to serving seniors in our community.
