Different services need different lead times. So if you're planning around something specific, just ask me when you book, and I'll help you figure out the right timing for what you're getting done.

Brow lamination temporarily changes the direction your brow hairs sit in, but the hair itself is still growing and shedding on its usual schedule underneath.

So if yours start drifting back toward their old shape around week six, that doesn't mean the treatment failed.

If your extensions are growing out or you're ready for a break, please resist picking or peeling them off yourself.

Pulling them can take your natural lashes with them before those lashes were ever ready to shed.

A proper removal uses actual remover to break the adhesive down gently, with no pulling involved.

If your lashes ever felt thinner after a set, it might be worth thinking about how they came off, not just the extensions themselves.

"Can I get waxed while on retinol?"

Here's what you need to know before your appointment. 👇

You should not wax your face while actively using retinol because it thins the outer layer of skin and can cause the wax to lift your skin instead of just the hair.

Before the Wax: Stop over-the-counter retinol for 5 to 7 days, and pause prescription retinoids for 7 to 14 days before your appointment.

After the Wax: Wait at least 48 to 72 hours after your service before applying retinol again.

Alternative Options: Consider threading or tweezing for facial hair, as these methods do not pull off the top layer of skin.

A lot of people assume their hair grows back thicker after shaving, but that's not actually what's happening.

Shaving cuts the hair at its thickest point, so the blunt edge feels coarser as it grows back in. The hair itself hasn't changed at all. It just feels different because of the cut.

Waxing removes hair from the root instead, so you skip that blunt regrowth feeling entirely, and a lot of people notice their hair coming back softer over time with consistent waxing.

Dorm skincare isn't about having everything. It's about having stuff that survives a shared bathroom and 8 AM classes.

Here's what I recommend: Keep it simple enough that you'll actually do it, even on the nights when washing your face feels like a whole event.

A lash lift works with what you already have. It lifts and defines your natural lashes and needs zero daily maintenance after your appointment.

Extensions go a different direction. They add real length and volume, but they come with more upkeep and a more dramatic look.
