It’s a small accomplishment, but I am only aiming to reach those who God needs it to reach. I am honored and blessed for this little podcast to have reached its first milestone!!! This is so exciting. Thank you all for your support. God is good and I am truly blessed!

I am incredibly grateful for all of you who are supporting me on this little journey! God certainly has bigger plans than I do. This may be a little podcast, but I am entirely grateful for each and every one of you who listen, follow, and those who have reached out. I pray God continues to use this to reach those who need it. Everyday we have work, chores, nurturing our children, and some days the task list seems never ending. After a long day or early morning sometimes it is easy to give into our frustrations. To want to respond quick, to complain at doing something else, adding more to our plate, answer our kids millionth question, or tame the 10th melt down of the day. But instead of responding in our frustration, what if, God had asked us? What if that sink full of dishes from last night, God asked you to clean them, or comfort his child in tears? What if, God asked you to finish the laundry so he could continue ministering to his people? Would you still respond in resentment, frustration, or anger?

I know if God asked me, I would jump. I would be honored to clean the dishes the Lord used. I would be honored to help him with any task he needed my help with. That’s not how I always respond though. It’s so easy to get stuck in the view of what “I” have going on or what “I” have already done. Isn’t that the sole purpose of why we are here to show goes love, grace, and mercy? To honor God in everything we do. Something being “outside” of the church, does not mean it is not serving God. So why do we respond so differently?

What would you do if God asked you?

I propose a question. In the midst of all the politics, where is your faith? Have you stopped to think before posting another picture or “article” to see if it is true? Or is the “share” button just too easy to press? Have you done your due diligence in researching both parties? Not just listening to the news or relying on Facebook for your information. I am questioned to think that if you have that many who claim to be followers of Christ wouldn’t be so against the obvious answer.

I listened to a video replay of a woman speaking about the dangers of the male political party. The main topic of discussion was that “our teenage boys will not be able to go to college, because they will be tending to their pregnant girlfriends.” Why have we stopped teaching young girls about abstinence? What about courting and chivalry? Learning who your partner is rather than if they can get you off or not. Why is having s*x outside of marriage encouraged? S*x is an intimate act between a husband and wife, that God encourages. But is damaging to one’s soul outside of the covenant. Why have we stopped teaching core values and morals to our children? So basic of keep it in your pants and keep your legs closed? (This statement only pertains to the consenting…I am aware of other situations) Or respect yourself and be held accountable for your OWN actions?

Speaking of being held accountable for your own actions, consenting adults choose to have s*x, it results in a child. That is no surprise! The Lord says thou shall not murder, yet we want a pass? The result of our “own” actions that we don’t like is to “remove” the “problem?” When there are plenty of options besides abortion. Ever heard of adoption? The number of people that I know who are struggling to carry a baby and then I see people “fighting” to kill one is heart breaking! Does no one see the disconnect!!

Bring back morals! Bring back God! We were never meant to carry the weight of this world on our own. Ask questions to gain understanding. Do your research and the answers are all pointing up. Up to the Lord. I truly want to understand how someone who claims to be in Christ and a follower is able to vote Blue this election.
