One year ago today I made the best change in my life. After giving 24 years to a company that never really appreciated me and going to work had become a real chore, I made a move to Hair Quarters and could not be happier. I want to thank Lisa Burt Graham owner who took me In, not sure if she wanted to add to the stylist as she had ( some bad seeds in the pass)she has made me welcome and a place I feel good about. She is not only a co worker but becoming a friend. Tiffany Walsh Butler thank you for including me in your talks and a few laughs. And Gina Davis Holder all of your shenanigans and strong opinions your a hoot. Thank you all for giving me a new home. My only regret is that I didn’t come home sooner.
And yes Ruth Wang Armistead thank you for your help.

I’m so thankful we are going to be opening May 18, 2020. The Coronavirus has taken a toll on everyone. We are excited to be able to open and see all our clients/friends again. We sure have missed you. I think the feeling is probably mutual. Please contact your stylist to get re-scheduled when you feel comfortable coming back to the salon. We will do our best to get you all in ASAP. You are our priority. And keeping you as safe as possible is our goal.

1. We will be spreading out our appointments to ensure cleaning in between each customer. Keep in mind. This also limits how many customers we can see. Please be patient as we go through this process. This is all new territory for everyone. To help ensure your safety.

2. I have taken 4 courses to understand how to keep everyone as safe as possible.

3. I also have purchased accelerated hydrogen peroxide disinfecting products which are very effective and act quickly to kill the virus and other germs. Most disinfectants take 10 minutes to kill the virus. AHP only takes 1 min. They are much more expensive but I feel they are worth it. Personally I think all salons should use this product. (My opinion)

4. We are lucky because our salon doesn’t have high traffic so it will be easier to maintain sanitary conditions under these circumstances. I’m glad it’s cool to be a germaphobe 🦠 🦠 nowadays.

5. We are asking customers to call/text us upon arrival. We are only allowing the person receiving service to enter the salon. (If you have a little one receiving service of course that will be an exception). We will let you know when we are ready for you because we will be disinfecting between each client and don’t want you to enter until we disinfectant.

6. Please leave any unnecessary items in your car.

7. Only use the bathroom if it is a total necessity.

8. There will be hand sanitizer by the entrance we are requiring you to use before entering Hair Quarters. Then you will go directly to your stylists chair.

9. We still have retail for sale but we are asking you to please not touch any. We will be happy to assist you.

10. I will be wearing a face shield and will provide one for you at the shampoo bowl.
