I have an unhealthy obsession with hairspray.

There, I said it.

Want to know why?

It provides the ability for me to curl my hair and it last ALL DANG day! Sometimes it even lasts 2-3 days before I have to recurl! Who doesn’t love it being super easy to style your hair and make it last?

Let’s fix it!

Sometimes dry shampoo can come on a little strong and show a lot of white residue.

My quick tip is to let it soak in and then brush it really really well!

If it doesn’t disappear after that, use a hot blowdryer with a brush for a quick refresh!

What other styling challenges do you have?

Have you ever felt lost? Or unsure of your purpose?

In the last 8 years I have had several seasons of feeling unsure, unworthy and honestly I felt just like I was in the motions but I was also stuck in one position.

Diving back into my purpose is changing that for me and helping me find exactly who I am and what drives me.

Something that changed for me was shifting out of daily motherhood and the grind into the empty-nest world. I had to find my purpose again as Sarah not as a mom.

I have the coolest job

I get to help people realize how beautiful they are, I get to coach, mentor and encourage 11 stylists on how to find their potential and reach their goals, and I get to travel to learn more with some amazing people.

I get the privilege of having a fantastic career.

Hobby? What’s a hobby?

First off, I never do things half way so there is no surprise that I don’t have hobbies because what is free time?

I would love to tell you that I have a well balanced life with many things that I do outside of work, but that would be a lie these days. For the last 18 years, I had two main jobs, running a company and being a mom. However this season of life is now about growth in new ways.

I am obsessed with what I do and why I love it. It is the best career and the best decision I ever made. Want to learn more? I love to share about why owning my salon was the best decision ever!

September is historically a month of major change for me.

21 years ago in September, I opened a salon and spa with my Dad which would be our one and ONLY business venture together 🤣
12 years ago in September, we chose to close that venture and move into a new era.

We had no idea what was going to be next which was scary and yet, I had a lot of people in my corner cheering me on when I really wasn’t sure of myself. For that I am forever grateful.

This month, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for what the last 12 years have brought me and I am also so excited for this new chapter. In the last month, I’ve been in rooms and conversations that my young self dreamed of but never believed that I could get there.
