Last night was the final class of Advanced Techniques, Summer 2026 at Cumberland Institute of Holistic Therapies!
This class was such a tight-knit bunch; it has been truly inspiring and such a joy to witness their love for each other over the past 10 weeks. Each of these student's brings a different strength "to the table" (pun intended) and is going to make such an amazing Massage Therapist!
I also had the complete honor of having a former student join me as my lovely assistant. Sherry has been an answer to my prayers, through and through. She has such a passion for helping others through massage and a gentleness about her that warms the entire room. I am SO grateful she has agreed to join me again in the winter quarter!
As always, it's so fun and such a dream come true to "be on the other side of the desk". If I could jump back in time and tell 2010 Megan she would be teaching one day- I'm not sure she would believe me.
I am so grateful for this journey and that my Cumberland family grows with each class. 🤍

Presenting Mr & Mrs Matthew Harrell!
Our day was absolutely beautiful. We were surrounded by our incredible kiddos and so many people who genuinely love us and were rooting for our love.
Thank you to all my wonderful clients who have stood by my side through all the ups and downs of this crazy thing we call life. I am so grateful you continue to support my family by turning my dream into a reality.

We received wonderful news yesterday! My fiancé, Matthew, is officially cancer free! We left the Oncologist and bought our marriage license! We're getting married on 7/24 and we're so excited to grow old(er) together! 🥰

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take the Redcross BLS/CPR class. Being a student alongside my instructors continues to feel like a full-circle moment. They went from instructors to colleagues and friends. I'm so blessed and so grateful for this chapter of my life!
Normally, I try to keep your appointments and this page focused on massage. Here's a little life update for my wonderful clients!
Everyone, meet Matthew. We'll start with the elephant in every room... Yes, he looks Amish. No he's not. 🤣
He came into my life in 2024 at a time when I was "completely done" with love. From the moment we met, life has been an adventure. After only two months of dating he was diagnosed with cancer and we fought hard to save his life. Matthew is the type of man to always stop and help others in need. During the cancer battle, I learned that a man can go through insanely stressful times and still have a servants heart, full of love. Once he had the cancer removed, we agreed we weren't going to waste time anymore. We jumped full force into life, found a church home, bought our (MY 😉) infamous car "PawPaw Walter", learned to line dance and met so many wonderful people along the way. Matthew has taught me that I deserve all the love I've given to others over the years, and more. He reminds me daily through his actions and his words how special I am.
I am so excited to share with you- We're Engaged! We're having a small wedding at our little country church on July 24th this year. 🥰
