I hate the phrase time is money and today’s appointment was giving that vibe entirely! I felt very rushed when the Dr came to speak to me and asked me the exact same questions from the 10 page new patient paperwork AND the nurse asked. The fact I was looking at the notes the assistant nurse took placed right in front of the Dr and he clearly didn’t read a word under his nose was frustrating. BUT progress is happening I think.

Should I make “Makeup Monday” a thing? I have rehearsal every Monday so why not right? Today I used shadows and 24/7 eyeliner from a holiday collection and Maneater mascara for the eyes. Face was hydro primer with foundation and liquid blush set with blush duo vol 4 and setting powder. All sealed with setting spray. Sound off in the comments what types of looks you may want to see in the future. The more setup I can get the closer I get to filming a full tutorial for you and I promise I’m working on it. Chronic pain is such a mind altering disease!!!! I’m not talking about the epidural numbing contractions. It literally took away pain I’ve NEVER been without! EVER!!! Since I was little. That being your norm changes so many things you need to know and communicate especially to your doctors. And I was told from a very young age I was faking my and exaggerating everything. I know I’m not alone so please use my comment section for some venting and we can do it together!!!

Have you had any appointments with a pain management physician? I didn’t know of their existence until a few months ago if I’m honest. Any tips or advice going into this appointment? I need all the help I can get!

What are your favorite things to do that others just hate? I see so many people complaining about wash day but if I had the perfect setup where I could sit I would spend hrs washing brushes!!! I remember each client, each look, each colorful moment and refresh it all to create even more moments!

I don’t want to feel like I’m putting on a performance when I hit record so I’m not gonna. If I feel like creating or discussing something with ya that’s when I will create. I’m in enough physical and mental pain and don’t need to create more for myself. So I’m going to lean into being as authentically me as possible and look forward to hitting record. See ya soon!

Ever have your day knock you down before you can even get up to start the day? What do you do for a “pick me up”? Today I decided to lean into my nerdy side and get some Pokemon cards for me and the fam. Nothing like some shiny cardboard to brighten your mood!

Hubby and I had a performance with our choral group today so of course I had to get dolled up and show some pride all at the same time!!
