Don’t Explain Everything

Stop explaining yourself to people committed to misunderstanding you.

At some point you gotta say:
“Believe whatever the hell you want.” 😂

My circle got smaller because my standards got higher.
That’s not loneliness.
That’s quality control. 😂

Somebody will always be bothered by your confidence.
Let them.
You don’t dim your light because somebody else forgot to charge their battery. 😂

Confession:
I don’t always have it together. 😂
Sometimes I’m confident.
Sometimes I’m confused.
Sometimes I’m motivated.
Sometimes I need to sit my ass down.

But I ALWAYS get back up.

Stop chasing people who already know where you are.

Stop begging for attention from people who give it freely to everybody else.

Stop auditioning for a role you were never supposed to play.

Choose yourself.

Grown-woman energy is realizing you don’t have to respond to everything.
Sometimes the most powerful response is:
“That’s interesting.”
And then you go right back to minding your business. 😂
