As a braider, I want every client to feel comfortable during their appointment — nap, relax, scroll, watch your show, whatever you need! BUTTTT when that head starts falling forward every 2 minutes, it can definitely add time to your service and put my body through some unnecessary work. 😭
Holding your head up properly helps me braid more efficiently, keeps me from constantly stopping to reposition you, AND protects my back, neck & shoulders. 🤎
I love what I do, and I’ll always make sure my clients are comfortable — but please remember to take care of your braider too! 🥹 Respect her time, her body, and her craft. Long hours of bending over may not seem like much now, but it can definitely catch up with us down the line.
