Insomnia struck again... been up since 1am... brain dialogue went something like this... "I can't believe this is happening again. I suppose I could read my book. Yes, let's do that. (read) Maybe we are ready to sleep now. (turns off light) How long has it been? Are we asleep yet? I wonder if we should get up and just start the day. Maybe we can get some things done. I wonder what I should have for breakfast. Do I still have the pineapple in the fridge? Pineapple has a lot of good health qualities. I need to remember to incorporate it more into my nutrition. Which is why I bought the pineapple in the first place. So why haven't I eaten it yet? Because I have been making eggs. I need to remember to put in my order for the farm fresh egg lady to pick up on Wednesday. I should try to have this book finished by Wednesday. I wonder how much sleep I'll end up getting. This is definitely going to affect me workout. Maybe I should do yin yoga and not push it. I really enjoy yin yoga. I need to incorporate that more into my wellness plan. I need to remember to write that on the intention board tomorrow. Maybe I should try to read my book again. (read) Maybe we can try to sleep again. (turns off light)..." and that, my friends, is what it's like to be in perimenopause. Such a fun journey. If you're with me on this crazy journey, I see you. I feel you. I'm walking next to you.
