There's something about looking upon the freshly fallen snow - before the animals start to tread on it. It give me an opportunity to just think and clear my head. No matter what my storm looks or sounds like, there is peace in knowing that I am protected and provided for. I have shelter, heat in this bitter cold, food to eat, the power is on; I am looked after by my Father in Heaven.

These photos were taken from my deck at 2:26 PM this afternoon and the temperature was 18°F with a real feel of 8°F. Still more winter weather came and there is more to come. Even so, I have peace in the midst of the storm. How about you? Feel free to post your snow pics in the comments!
