My mom was in the hair Industry for over 40 years. Running her own salon for many of them. Working in her shop was my first real job. I learned so much AND made a lot of money! But in that cash and carry business, money moves as fast out if your hands as it does in it! I really enjoyed myself as a 1st time vendor not only at the The Natural Hair Industry Convention but in the state of Maryland! It's been over a year since I've been a part of an event where I didn't know ANYONE, and that's bc I'm stepping out of my comfort zone. In order to grow my business, I have to go out of my normal stomping grounds. I've been challenging myself to travel to different states with my business (so far I've been to DC, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia & now Maryland) & I couldn't be more proud of myself ! (ya girl hates driving long distance btw 🤣) Thank you to every single person who stopped by my table to shop with me, talk with me, or snap a few pics/videos. I truly am thankful! 🙏🏿
