Steel Magnolia Salon

Allow me to reintroduce myself ✨🐆🍸
My name is Shelby Hatcher, the owner of Steel Magnolia. I am 26 years old and have been standing behind the chair for 7 years. Specializing in extensions & blonde services.
Any who knows me even in the slightest knows the passion and love I have for my career and salon. My goal is for everyone who walks through our doors is to feel right at home, to feel loved, and most importantly beautiful.
Outside of the salon I spend all the time I can with the people I love. I will never turn down a trip to a thrift or antique store. There’s also a 90% chance my work boots are in my car because I still love helping out on my family’s dairy farm. Don’t tempt me with the idea of taking a trip because I will pack bags immediately and book a flight.
To all the guest and loved ones who have supported me and the salon thank you. My dreams would be nothing without all of you. 🖤

The girls and I are so happy to announce that we have officially made the move across the street to our new location! 🖤🖤

All appointments will be 1350 campbellsville road Columbia Ky 42728

Our phone number has remained the same 270-384-3000

Seven years ago I was a nineteen year old with a dream. I opened the doors to Steel Magnolia without a clue how to run a business. I didn’t have a book full of appointments or any idea of how I was going to make this work.
Spending countless hours standing behind my chair listening to stories, staying late, coming in extra early, crying multiple tears, lots of love, and some of the best memories mixed all together made for the best seven years.
Year eight will be a whole new adventure as we make our official move across the street to our new location. It’s so bitter sweet knowing soon we will walk out of our original location for the last time. We cannot wait to, very soon, see ya in the new one.
To each and every person who has supported me, sat in any chair here, or worked with me thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
