Tomorrow will be one week since we lost our baby Birdie RoseMarie McCray.

We are not planning on doing any kind of wake or service for her. We are hoping that we get to bring her home sometime this week from the funeral home. We had her cremated so that she could come home and be with us.

We are planning on getting a Nuttall Oak Tree that will be very large and strong, that will signify our love for her. We will be putting a bench under the tree and a mailbox. The mailbox will be for any cards or letters that you would like to write to her. It will be between only you and her. We will not be reading them. Feel free to message me if you would like our address.

In lieu of flowers we are asking for a small donation to go towards the tree for our little baby Birdie. We will put any extra towards flowers and decorations to keep it beautiful for her. We are hoping to have everything completed by this spring. We will keep everybody updated on our progress.

We also want to welcome anybody that would like to come see her to not be afraid to ask some we can set up a time. Also, when we receive our photos back we will share them with you.

As of March 1st our rates will be changing.
We apologize for having to do this but it has to be done.

Haircuts services will be raised by 2.00
Colors and Perms will be raised as well according to your hair needs.

**Bad News**

As of Aug 10th I will not be doing hair for a few months. I do hope to come back on light duty by Mid October and if my shoulder allows me back at full swing as of the beginning of Nov so I can get everybody ready for the Holidays!!!

I will be having surgery on the 11th for my shoulder. They tell me I have an incomplete rotator cuff tear or rupture, a shoulder impingment (my bone is growing downward and has to be shaved down), and a superior glenoid labrum lesion (this was his biggest concern).

This has been going on for about 6-7 weeks and has not gotten better, at all. The pain is constant and doesnt go away.

For all my clients that have prebooked the year out I will do my best to set you up with either Joy or Ragan :-)

I will work as much as I can up to the surgery date, I apologize if I am not able to get you in before I am out.

Masks Answers to Clients Questions:

As of Wednesday May 12th at 11:59am, masks will no longer be required at Hair Spectrum.
Every private business in Columbia is able to make the choice on what they want to require for mask regulations.
Government offices are the only business that Mandates the wearing of masks.

You are welcome to still wear yours if you choose to.
You are welcome to ask Your Stylist to wear one as well if you would like to. We want you to be comfortable in our chair!
Your Stylist is also now allowed to do beard trims and lip waxes.

Erika, owner, has been in touch with State Board and the Columbia Health Department and recieved conformation on all said above.
