I have neon this week because it’s fun!
I’ve never tried this product, so I don’t know if it works at all. Sharing to educate people about HS. A lot of my clients will think they have a “hair bump”, and even though I’m not a doctor, I can tell that sometimes it’s not a hair bump. HS is pretty common, unfortunately. I have seen varying degrees of it. Sometimes it’s mild, sometimes people get painful lesions that last a really long time, and sometimes they even “tunnel” together. When a client gets a bump that is slow to heal on their bikini area, I will often ask if they also get them on their underarms, or under their breasts. If you have symptoms like this, definitely ask a doctor about it, because no amount of salicylic acid or any other products I can recommend for ingrown hairs will fix it. Sometimes, unfortunately, you have to keep asking, because some doctors are even unfamiliar with HS. To people struggling with HS, I see you, and I hope you can find a solution!

Hello! I am aware of the planned economic blackout tomorrow, spearheaded by the 50501 movement. I personally do not plan to buy anything tomorrow, but I will be at work for my clients who do have appointments. If you have an appointment with me tomorrow and still wish to participate in the boycott, you have a few options: I will be happy to reschedule your appointment for sometime next week. If you wish to keep your appointment, you can pay in cash, so the credit card companies don’t get their cut. Try to bring the amount you plan to pay, because I can’t guarantee that I will have correct change. Or, you can pay with a check, and I won’t take it to my bank until Monday.

Hello everyone! The holidays are approaching and I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that my schedule is getting really full, with not much wiggle room. I don’t have much availability to move appointments around, and I don’t have any Saturday availability after tomorrow until November 23rd. It’s probably best to go ahead and get on the schedule if you’re thinking about booking an appointment 😅

Sugarplum Waxing @ The Waxing Parlour is back open this week. If we had to cancel your appointment and I’ve forgotten to reschedule you, just send me a text and we will get you back on there. I know a lot of people are still being impacted, and if any of my clients just need to charge your phone and/or drink some cold water or coffee, you’re welcome to come here. Just send me a text and make sure I’m there and that there aren’t like 50 other people in the sitting area (I don’t think that many people could actually fit in my space). I hope everyone is ok and dry.
