Day 4 Photo Challenge:
This will be my first Nationals ever. The reason I choose to do nationals is because I want to be a voice for people with disabilities and to show them that the possibilities are endless.
A lot of people with disabilities think they are not good enough or afraid of what people will think of them. I know because I was one of those people.
When I came to the state pageant back in April of this year, I didn't know what people would think of me. But I slowly came out of my shell and started to open up to people and grew relationships that I thought I would never have.
Thank you to all of my sister Queens and Carrie Layne for providing a positive pageant experience.

Day 3 Photo Challenge:
I have many new pageant besties in the Amerifest pageant system. I appreciate everyone one of them. They are a great support system.
I am bringing my sister and my adopted mama with me. My biological mother passed away 9 years ago so she will be there in spirit.

Growing up with different disabilities made some simple task in life a little harder. I did not know about what the ADA (American with Disabilities Act of 1990)was and what my rights and resources were as a disabled person until one day my school mentioned about this program that Junior and seniors with disabilities can go to build leadership skills and learn about their rights as a disabled person.
Day 2 Photo Challenge:
This program taught me so much that I have a passion for wanting to teach people about their rights and how to go about asking for the proper accomodations for work and school. This program taught me on how to be an advocate for myself. each year I went back as a volunteer staff member and was able to help other students overcome the same fears as I did.
Each year the Form would go and tour the State House and sometimes got to meet law makers and the Governor. So this is my passion and platform.

My name is Tiffney and I am from Marion, Ohio. Marion is the home of the Popcorn Festival. It is always held Labor Day weekend. I have a sister who is 2 years younger than me.
When I first came to Amerifest system this year I didn't know what to expect at first. Then I built relationships with many people and learn to be the best version of myself.
Pageants are more than a crown, they are about giving back to your community. This will be my first Nationals ever. So best of luck to all and safe travels for everyone.
