☀️🍂 Thursday MOTD | Making My Own Sunshine!

It's another gloomy day here in Ohio, and normally that kind of weather makes me want to reach for all the cool, moody eyeshadows.

But not today! 😂

I had a completely different look planned when I opened my BPerfect Carnival IV: The Antidote palette, but those beautiful warm tones were calling my name. And who am I to argue with my eyeshadow? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

I decided I needed something a little brighter and happier today, so warm rosy mattes and that gorgeous coppery shimmer won!

Of course, I couldn't forget about my Eyeshadow Roulette shades! I brought in Give Me Glow Halo, and then decided I needed just a little something extra in my inner corner, so I added Devinah Water Mist.

Sometimes the makeup you end up wearing is nothing like what you originally planned. And sometimes those unexpected looks turn out to be your favorites.

💕 Wednesday MOTD | A Reminder of Why I Shop My Stash!

Well, well, well...look who decided to redeem herself! 😂👏🏻

At the beginning of October, I pulled the Revolution Pro Marilyn Monroe palette off my makeup purgatory shelf. I purchased this palette when it launched in November 2021, and it had been sitting untouched for at least THREE YEARS!

I was pretty convinced it was going to be a declutter. But instead of getting rid of it, I decided to give it one last chance and rolled it into my Project 3 Uses.

And today? I was reminded why I loved this palette in the first place. 😍

The formula is beautiful! The mattes blend so nicely, the shimmers are gorgeous, and this soft rosy brown look is exactly the kind of makeup that makes me happy.

Sometimes we get so caught up in using the newest things in our collections that we forget about the beautiful products we already own.

Tuesday MOTD 🖤 | A Little Moody, A Little Shimmery!

We're continuing to play with the spooky season palettes, and today I'm back in my Nomad Haunted Europe palette! 👻

I wanted something cool-toned and a little moody, so I started with some of those beautiful cool browns. And then I remembered how much I love that dark blue in cool toned looks.

Well, obviously I had to use it! 😂💙

Seriously, I think this might be my favorite dark blue matte in my entire collection. It's such a beautiful shade for deepening up an outer corner without going straight to black.

I brought in my trusty ColourPop Stone Cold Fox for some cool-toned shimmer on the lids, but headed right back to Haunted Europe for that gorgeous bright inner corner.

The result is a smoky, cool-toned neutral look with just a little something extra. And I LOVE how it turned out!

Sunday MOTD 🤍 | When in Doubt, Stone Cold Fox!

Well, here's something you haven't seen in a while...me wearing makeup on a SUNDAY! 😂

Seriously, I don't think I've had makeup on my face on a Sunday in MONTHS!

We're heading out to celebrate my nieces' birthdays today, and with an hour-and-a-half drive ahead of us, I wanted something quick, easy, and pretty. And I didn't even do a brow. Just clear brow gel.

And when I don't feel like putting a lot of thought into my eyeshadow, there's one palette I know I can always count on.

This palette has been such a workhorse in my collection, especially with my ongoing project to hit pan in every shade. But even without that project, it's one I reach for time and time again.

💚🍷 | When Pinterest Inspiration Meets My Makeup Collection!

I've been LOVING a particular color story lately. Dusty greens, mauves, and deep w**e shades. 😍

I found some inspiration on Pinterest and started playing around with different ways to combine these colors. 🤔

And THIS is what happened!

💚 Nomad Coastal Cruise Palette — For those beautiful green mattes in my transition and crease.

🍷 Glamlite Saw Palette — For the gorgeous w**e and mauve shimmers on my lid.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out! The softness of the green against those rich, metallic w**e tones is exactly what I was envisioning.

It's a little moody, a little romantic, and definitely something different from my usual neutral looks.

And can we appreciate how beautifully these two completely different palettes work together?! This is why I love shopping my stash and mixing things up. 👏🏻

🍂 Happy Friday! MOTD & Face Palette Friday!

After an entire WEEK without makeup, I'm finally feeling like a human again! 👏🏻 I've been under the weather, but I'm feeling much better, and we have a very special birthday party tonight!

My granddaughter turns TWO tomorrow! 🥹❤️ Seriously, where has the time gone?! I swear we were just celebrating her arrival, and now we're celebrating her second birthday!

For today's makeup, I pulled out my Natasha Denona Glam Eye & Face Palette for Face Palette Friday and brought in three shades from my Eyeshadow Roulette project!

I love how these shades came together! Warm, bronzy, a little smoky, and just enough shimmer to make things interesting. 🤩
It's a warm October day here in Ohio, so I figured a warm October makeup look was only appropriate!

💙 50 Shades of Blue | September Update 💙

Every time I look at how much progress I still need to make in this project, I start to panic a little. 😳🤣 Then I remember I have until April 15th to finish! WHEW! 👏🏻

❄️ STONE COLD FOX PROJECT PAN | Q3 UPDATE

Another quarter down with my ColourPop Stone Cold Fox palette!

Q3 wasn't nearly as exciting in the new-pan department as Q2, but progress is progress.

I added ONE new pan this quarter — Gravity Hill! 🎉 And that one was definitely earned because I was concentrating pretty hard on it.

My goal with this project is simply to hit pan in as many shades as I can by the end of the year. I'm not trying to finish anything, and I'm not forcing myself to create entire looks with this palette. Instead, I work it into whatever else I'm using that day — a transition, outer corner, lid setting shade, whatever I need.

And apparently I needed Lux 57 TIMES in Q3. 🤣 I've been using it to set my lids basically every single time I do my makeup. That pan has GOT to be coming eventually… right?! 👀

I'm also sharing my usage numbers for each shade this quarter. Overall, I didn't reach for as many different shades as I have in previous quarters, but that's okay. I'm still consistently working through this palette while using and enjoying the rest of my collection.

Tuesday MOTD 🍂👻

Okay, technically this is Sunday's makeup. 😂 I've been a little under the weather and haven't put makeup on my face since, but this look was too good not to share!

It's officially OCTOBER, which means the Spooky Season palettes are coming out! 👻🎃

I pulled out my Nomad Haunted Europe palette that is currently in my Deck Of Panning, and this is exactly why I love this palette so much. You can go cool, dark and moody with it OR completely change direction and create something warm and autumnal like this.

And because apparently one project at a time isn't enough 😂, I also brought in two shades that were just rolled into my Eyeshadow Roulette:

✨ Give Me Glow — Halo

That combination on the lid though!! 🤩 That greeny-gold shift against all those warm rusty tones is giving me exactly the October makeup I wanted.

Thursday MOTD 🤎✨

Keeping things quick and easy today!

I pulled out my Glamlite Breaking Dawn palette for another use toward my Deck of Panning goal. I only need 5 uses on this palette, so we're making progress! 🙌🏻

Nothing complicated today—just a soft, neutral everyday eye with a little depth on the outer corner and some shimmer on the lid.

Sometimes I want to play with all the colors, all the shimmers and ALL the things...and sometimes I just want pretty makeup on my face without making it a whole production. 😂

And this palette really does make a beautiful neutral look. 🤎
