Monday MOTD 🩵✨

Another day, another handful of project shades. 😆

Today's look used: 🩵 A blue shade from my Glamlite Rick & Morty palette, which means I get to mark off another blue in my No Pan Left Behind project. 🦩 One more shade from my Violet Voss Flamingo palette... and now I'm officially down to ONE shade left before I've used every shade in the palette! 🎉 🤎 I pulled in the rosy browns from the Morphe 35XO to set the tone and tie everything together.

I wasn't sure how the minty blue would play with the warm rosy browns, but I ended up loving the contrast. Sometimes the combinations that seem a little odd on paper end up being the most fun to wear.

Project panning has definitely pushed me to be more creative, and I think that's one of the best parts.

Sunday MOTD 💜✨
Today's look is proof that project panning doesn't have to mean boring makeup.
This eye look came together from several different projects I'm working on, and honestly... I love when that happens.
✨ Stone Cold Fox – I used two of the matte shades because I'm focusing on them for my next pans.
🦩 Violet Voss Flamingo – I reached for two shades from the palette that's currently in my Deck of Panning for No Pan Left Behind.
🎲 Eyeshadow Roulette – I also brought in Glow Hex My Ex and Wine O'Clock to get a couple more uses on those project shades.
I always enjoy the challenge of making products from different palettes work together. Sometimes you discover combinations you never would have planned... and this one definitely paid off.

Saturday MOTD 💜🤎
Today's look started with an experiment...
I pulled out the ColourPop Smokin' Hot palette and wanted to see what would happen if I paired that deep plummy purple with some warmer brown and bronze tones. Sometimes those combinations are magic... sometimes they're a mess. 😂
Thankfully, this one landed somewhere in the "didn't hate it!" category. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Actually... the more I wore it, the more I liked it. The plum added just enough depth without taking over the look.
I also brought in a few of my Eyeshadow Roulette shades because you know I can't resist getting a few more uses on those project shadows whenever I can.
And before anyone asks... 😅 I think my phone decided to eat the photos of my eye and lip products today. They're listed below instead!

Friday MOTD 💜

Today's look is a fun collab with Ash! Ash We both pulled out our Blend Bunny Dollhouse palettes... with a twist.
I used the original Dollhouse and Ash used the newly released Dollhouse. We randomized rows for each other and had to create a look using at least 4 shades from the row we were assigned.

Ash gave me Row 4... and they couldn't have picked a better one! 😍 It's one of my favorite rows in this palette. Those cool-toned taupes, smoky charcoals, and soft lavender shimmer are absolutely my kind of color story.

I love challenges like this because they make me look at my palettes differently and encourage me to use shades I might not have paired together on my own.

Funny story...

I bought this "dress" to wear for Anthony's birthday dinner. In the photos it looked lightweight, flowy, and absolutely perfect for a hot summer evening.

What did I forget to do?

Read the description. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Turns out... it isn't a dress at all. It's a swim cover-up. 😂😂

So, naturally, I hopped on Amazon and ordered a shapewear slip dress to wear underneath.
Problem solved! 🙌

Honestly? It worked out even better than I expected. It's super comfortable, the cover-up is nice and airy, and most importantly... all of my bits are covered. 😆

Tuesday MOTD 🤎🦀

Today's look is a special one because tonight we're celebrating Anthony's birthday! ❤️

We're heading out for a crab boil, which is funny because that's usually my birthday tradition. I guess sharing is part of a good relationship. 😉🦀

I knew I wanted a soft, romantic rosy brown eye, so I reached for my Morphe 35XO. I usually gravitate toward the pink shades in this palette, but today those beautiful rosy browns were exactly what I was looking for. It's always fun to rediscover a palette by using it a little differently.

Now it's time to put the makeup away, enjoy a great dinner, celebrate my favorite person, and probably eat entirely too much seafood.

Sunday MOTD 🤎

Today is all about editing, relaxing, and seeing where the day takes us.
For today's look, I reached for my Morphe 35O Nature Glow—my oldest palette and one I'll never part with. My daughter gave it to me as a birthday gift many, many moons ago, and it holds so many memories. ❤️

It's funny how makeup can do that. Every time I open this palette, I'm reminded that it's so much more than eyeshadow. It's a reminder of where I started, the memories attached to it, and why I love shopping my own collection.

The formula may not be the newest or trendiest anymore, but these warm neutrals still create a beautiful everyday look. Sometimes the oldest palettes are the ones that feel most like home.

It's another dark and rainy day, so I decided to create a look to match. We desperately needed the rain, so I'm not complaining... it just called for cool-toned, moody shadows today.

I mixed some favorite mattes from my well-loved ColourPop Stone Cold Fox, paired them with my Natasha Denona Retro (currently in my Deck of Panning), and added a little something with two of my Eyeshadow Roulette shades: Give Me Glow Grunge Lavender and Hex My Ex.
